Uit naam en van wegens den Edelen
Achtbaaren Hove van Justitie der Rivier en onderborige Districten van Essequebo
wordt aan een iegelyk daar by belang hebbende bekend gemaakt dat uit hoofde van
het invallende Paasch Feest de Rolle of Zitting van Heeren Raaden
Commissarissen is bepaald op den 9 April eerstkoomende [large blank] En wyders
dat welgemelden Hove op Reces tot afdoening van Zaaken gescheiden is tot op den

Alzoo de Heer Alexander William Cozier,
minderjaarig Jongman, geboren te Barbados, geassisteerd met des zelft Moeder
Mary Cosier [sic] ter eenre EN Mejuffrouw Elisabeth Runnels meerderjaarige
Jonge Dochter, geboren binnen deze Colonie ter andere zyde van voorneemens zyn
met elkander een wettig Huwelyk aantegaan, zoo als dezelve dan ook op den 9de
Maart 1804 voor heeren Raaden Commissarissen uit den Edelen Achtbaaren Hove van
Justitie deser Rivier in ondertrouw zyn opgenomen, zoo wordt zulks mit dezen
aan elk en een regelyk gea[umlaut]dverteert, ten einde die geenen, welke
vermeenen zich tegens dit voorgenomen Huwelyk te kennen opponeeren, zulks in
tyds ter plaatze, waar zulks behoor, te doen
Alzoo de Heer M. J. Verroen, Procureur
vor den Edelen Achtbaaren Hove van Justitie alhier met deszelfs Huisvrouw
voorneemens is trinnen den tyd van vier weeken, als mede de Heeren J. P.
Jourdan, Med. Doctor James Steward, Aron Sobre, Francis Arthur, Thomas Jones en
James Harrison binnen den tyd van veertien dagen van hier te vertrekken, zoo
wordt mits dezen aan elk en een iedelyk bekend gemaakt, ten einde die geenen,
welke iets van hun te pretendeeren hebben of an hun verschuldigd zyn, hunne
pretensien te koomen voldoen, of hunne schulden te betalen ter hunner
Domicilium of wel ter Secretary alhier, worden die geenen, welke eenige
Processtukken in handen van gem Heer M. J. Verroen, of de gewezen Paradys &
Verroen gegeeven hebben, verzogt dezelve zoo spoedig mogelyk te koomen
afhaalen, voorts dat he Heer M. Mark voortaan zyn Domicilium citandi &
executandi heeft op deszelfs Plantagie de Paerel in de Boven Rivier. PUBLICK AUCTIONS. [heading]
The Commissary of the Vendue advertises,
that on Tuesday the 30th Instant, at 10 o'Clock, will be Exposed for Sale, with
the Approbation of His Honor Lieutenant Governor Nicholson; - Five Hundred
barrels of Flour, out of the King's Stores, Payment for which, will be received
in Cash or good Rum at Market Price and Proof, deliverable at the Commissary's
Stores, free of any Expences.
The Commissary of the Vendue advertises,
that on Thursday the 22d Inst. will be Exposed for Sale to the highest Bidders,
by Order of Messrs. I. S. Masse & I. P. Bischop, Executors to the Estate of
A. P. Deurwarder deceased; - Three Negro Men, Three Women and a Child.
The Commissary of the Vendue advertises,
that on Wednesday the 28th Inst will be Exposed for Sale to the highest
Bidders, at the Store of Messrs McInroy, Sandbach, McBean & Co. - Prime
Irish beef and pork, Irish butter, candles, soap, &c.
The Commissary of the vendue advertises,
that on Monday the 2d of April, will be Exposed for Sale to the highest
Bidders, by Order, and at the Store of Mr. Paul Smith, the following Articles,
viz: Mess and cargo pork in barrels and half barrels, mess and cargo beef in
barrels, rounds beef in tubs, butter in kegs, cheese and bread, Pilot bread in
barrels, cod fish in hogsheads and boxes, mould candles, lamp oil, red oak
staves, boat oars, &c
The Commissary of the Vendue advertises,
that on Friday the 6th of April, will be Exposed at Public Sale, to the highest
Bidders, on Plantation Bel Air, situated on the East Coast, the following Articles
of Furniture, &c. - A tea Urn, silver tea, milk and sugar pots, coffee do.
different kinds of spoons, an oil & vinegar stand, an elegant plate with
ornaments, compleat wine & beer glasses, rhenish, champaign & bourgoine
do. cut decanters, rummers, 12 pair shades, 4 silver candlesticks, 8 double
plated do 4 do. with shades for card tables, 7 lanthorns, gilt arms and shades,
a pair of elegant looking glasses, a large ditto, a set of blue earthen ware, a
do. desert, gold and white do. a do. brown & white do. an elegant white
& gold tea set, a do. blue & gold coffee do. 2 mahogany orbs with
copper hoops, a do. cooler with do. do a mahogany case with 12 bottles, blue
wash hand basons, 3 elegant lanthorns with copper chains, two back-gammon
tables, 4 card boxes, 4 silver salt cellars, 4 plated do, 4 silver waiters, a
large japan turtle dish, a do. blue fish do., a patent coffee pot, a Phaeton
and two Horses, different fine cattle, 30 sheep, small whist tables, 10 dozen
knives & forks, 12 desert spoons, 12 do. larger, 1 spy glass, different
mahogany bedsteads with elegant curtains, feather beds, matrasses, pillos
&c. a Lady's elegant mahogany cabinet or ward robe, a mahogany writing do.
2 D end tables for 18 Persons, a square ditto for 14 do., an elegant side board,
two mahogany card tables, 2 do. tea do. tow do. with drawers, a Lady's writing
Secretaire, 2 sophas, 12 elegant chairs, two arm do., twenty four mahogany
do.,24 painted chamber chairs, 3 different arm chairs, one mahogany night
table, 6 chamber glasses, 1 mahogany bureau with drawers, 1 wash hand stand, 12
crab wood chairs, 1 sopha and matrass, 2 small sophas, 2 Lady's mahogany
writing desks, a mahogany stand with an 8 day clock which shews the day of the
Month &c. an elegant Organ playing 50 Tunes, two very elegant globes,
twelve very fine pictures, gilded frames, exhibiting different Sea battles and
Portraits of the Heroes, 4 ditto do. a do. of Windsor Castle, 8 ditto Landscapse, 2 do. of the History of England, one compleat 6 oar'd Yacht in

The Undersigned, Receiver of the
Government Chest requests all those who have been deficient in paying the
Capitation Tax, for 1802, and in giving in their Returns for 1796 & 1802.
(the time for doing which, having expired on the first of the present Month,)
to attend at his Office as soon as possible for that purpose.

deceased William Bower is Indebted, are requested to render their Accounts to
the subscriber, before the last of April; and those Indebted, will please make
Immediate Payment.
The Subscriber intending to leave the

Auctorisatie van den Edelen Achtbaaren Hove van Justitie zal de Ondergetekende
Eerste Exploicteur dezer Colonie publicq by Executie verkoopen, ten Raadhuyze
op de Hoofdplaatze Stabroek den 8 May eerstkoomende voor en ten behoeve van
Fraser Littledale & Co. - Zekere Hout Grond bestaande in 2000 Akkers Land,
Siberie genaamd, gelegen in deze Rivier, met deszelfs ap en Dependentlen, als mede ses stuks Neger Slaaven, ook aan dezelve Hout Grond
behoorende, alles aankoomende H. van Lange. Die hierinne gading heest, kome
ten dage voornoemd en doe zyn profyt.

Runaway from the Subscriber, a Carboga
Man named Apollo, he is a Native of these Colonies, and a Carpenter by Trade,
speaks good English and is well known in the Colonies in general; he has a
Mother and Sister living in the Town of Cumingsburgh, and also a Wife who
resides in the yard where Mr. Forshaw occupies at present, and where likely he
may me met with; All Persons are cautioned not to employ the said Man, as also
all Owners or Masters of Vessels are forbid taking him off the Colony, or
transporting him from one District to another in the said Colonies, and forbid
harbouring him in any respect whatsover, as the Law will be rigidly enforced
against such Offender or Offenders. - One Joe Reward will be given for
apprehending said Man and lodging him in the Barracks and Two Joes Reward will
be given to any Person who will give sufficient Proof, so as to bring the
