Alzoo de Heer Robert Gordon,
meerderjaarig Jongman, geboren te Eithemonthouse in het Graaffschap Averdeen in
Schotland, woonende in Rio Essequebo, Bruidegom ter eenre EN Mejuffrouw Ann
Maria Parkinson, minderjaarige jonge Dogter, geboren alhier te Demerary, Bruyd
ter andere zyde - van voorneemens zyn met elkander een wettig Huwelyk aan te
gaan, zoo als dezelve ook reeds op den 17de May 1804 voor Heeren Raaden
Commissarissen uit den Edelen Achtbaaren Hove van Crimineele en Civiele de
Justitie der Rivier en onderhorige Districten van Essequebo in ondertrouw zyn
opgenomen, zoo wordt zulks mits dezen aan elk en een iegelyk bekend gemaakt,
ten einde die geenen, welke vermeenen zich tegens dit voorgenomen Huwelyk te
kunnen opponeeren, zulks in tyd te doen, daar waar en zoo het behoort.
Alzoo J. C. de Reuter, meerderjaarig
Jongman, geboren binnen deze Colonie ter eenre EN Catharina Bave,
minderjaarige Jonge Dogter, met schristelyk consent van haar Voogd A. Odde,
mede alhier geboren ter andere zyde - van voorneemens zyne met elkander een
wettig Huwelyk aan te gaan, zoo als dezelve ook reeds op den 17 May 1804 voor
Heeren Raaden Commissarissen uit den Edelen Achtbaaren Hove van Justitie dezer
Rivier in ondertrouw zyn opgenomen, zoo wordt zulks mits dezen aan elk en een
iegelyk bekend gemaakt, ten einde die geenen, welke voormeenen zich tegens die
voorgenomen Huwelyk te kunnen opponeeren, zulks in tyds doen, daar waar en zoo
zulks behoort.
Alzoo de Wel Edele Gestrenge Heer Colin
Macrae, Gud [sic] Raad van Justitie dezer Colonie van voorneemens is van hier
te vertrekken, zoo wordt zulks mits dezen bekend gemaakt, ten einde die geenen,
welke iets van zyn Edl. te pretendeeren hebben, of aan hem verschuldigd zyn,
hunne pretensien koomen ontvangen, of hunne schulden betalen ter zyner
Domicilium binnen den tyd van 14 dagen of uiterlyk 3 weeken.
Alzoo de Heer Jonathan Hicks van
voorneemens is binnen den tyd van 14 dagen van hier te vertrekken, zoo wordt
zulks mits dezen bekend gemaakt, ten einde die geenen, welke iets van hem te
pretendeeren hebben, of aan hem verschuldigd zyn, hunne pretensien koomen
ontvangen, of hunne schulden betalen ter zyner Domicilium. PUBLICK AUCTIONS. [heading]

pearl barley, sago, tobacco, spices, currants, raisins, mustard, candles,
castile soap, Gentlemen & Ladies cloaths, hats, gloves, shoes, boots,
cotton cambric, muslins, checks, printed linen, Furniture and payer hangings,
lime, terras, tiles, Earthen ware, oats, Plantation tools, &c.
Runaway from the Subscriber, a Negro
Woman named Susan, marked on her left Arm. K. [here - a upside down
"P"]. - Any Person who will deliver said Woman to the Subscriber,
shall receive Two Joes Reward.

Office of the Subscriber, where a List of the remaining Letters is posted up,
also one at the Union Coffee House. - And those Indebted to the Post Office,
are requested to make immediate Payment.

muslins, lawns, dimities, diaper, huckaback, [illegible] brittannias, Russia
sheeting, Irish linen, cotton shirring, checks, ready made Wearing Apparel,
white and yellow nankeens, Negro cloathing and blankets, patent silk hats,
beaver do. Men & Women's stockings, gloves, cotton counterpanes, bedsteads
with matrasses &c. compleat, cherry tree chairs, setts of dining tables,
Secretaires, writing desks, Ivory handled knives & forks, Stationary,
saddles & bridles, a neat Gig & Harness, Chaise and hand whips,
Carpenters tools, Dutch hoes, shovels, cutlasses, iron pots, stock locks,
[illegible] and Butt cocks, bolts, hinges, iron tea kettles, grid irons, frying
pans, Puncheon & Butt hoops, rivets, wood hoops, sugar strainers, skimmers
and ladles, boiling house lamps, sheet copper, lead, anchors, bottled porter
and beer, pease, barley, cherry and raspberry brandy, port wine, tea, sugar,
hams, Irish mess beef and pork, firkins tongues, pickled herrings, ling fish,
pine and Gloster cheese, sallad oil, vinegar, black peper [sic] spices, sago,
mustard, pickles, starch, [illegible] oats in puncheons, soap, candles, firkins
of tallow, gun powder, shot, paints, paint oil, lamp oil, neatsfoot oil,
spirits turpentine, brushes, etc.
Notice is hereby given to all whom it
may concern, that the Subscriber has removed from this Town, and now resides
upon the Plantation of Mr. Henery on the Arabian Coast in Essequebo; And as no
regard has been paid to his former Advertisement, by those who are Indebted to
him, he is to inform them that he must be under the disagreeable necessity of
putting all his Accounts, without any exceptions, into the hands of an Attorney
at Law, if not settled to his Satisfaction, or discharged in the course of next
week, as he cannot think of suffering those Persons he owes Money to, and have
been Indulgent to him, to wait any longer.
The Subscribers acquaint the Public,
that their House of Commerce, is at present on Concession No. 27, on the middle
dam in Stabroek.
Notice; - Every One who may have any
Claims against the Estate of David Jardine Esqr. of Essequebo, (deceased,) is
requested to deliver in the same at the Office of J. Thibou Mathews, Counsellor
at Law. And all Persons who are Indebted to the said Estate, are requested to
come forward with Payment.
To Be Rented: - A small Store Room very
conveniently situated for Mercantile Business. Enquire of the Printer.
De Ondergetekende vindt zich zer
gedisappoincteerd door een menigte van Ingezetenen dezer Colonie, door niet te
voldoen het geen zy hem verschuldigd zyn. Hy zal zich daarvoor eenige dagen
ophouden in Stabroek, in het Huis te voren bewoond door den Procureur E.
Loncke, en by faute van non betaling alles in Procureurs handen overgeeven. Hy
heest dit reeds voor een Jaar in de Nieuwspapieren bekend gemaakt, maar is van
geen effect geweest.
For Sale: - Those well known and
valuable Premises, the Property of the Subscriber and at present Occupied by
him situated in front of Plantation Werk & Rust, consisting of three Lots
or Concessions, two in depth by one and a half in front, with a very strong
comfortable and commodious Dwelling House, 72 feet long and 3 stories high,
under which is a very extensive Room calculated for the Mercantile Business,
and surrounded by a strong Brick Wall; also seven side Buildings appropriated
for Kitchen in which is a new Brick Oven, Negroe Houses, Wash House, a Stable
for six Horses, Chaise House, a small convenient Dwelling House and two
Necessaries, the whole in Compleat Order, round which is an elegant new Railing
of the best Colony Hard Wood and Gate lately finished, Painted &c. The
Terms will be made easy to an approved Purchaser by applying to the Subscriber
or to F. Martin Esqr.
The Subscriber being again admitted as
Attorney for the Court of Criminal and Civil Justice, acquaints his Friends and
the Public therewith, recommending himself to their Favors. - He lives on the
Concession No. 27, on the middld [sic] dam in Stabroek.

smoaked tongues, pickles, split pease, barley, London porter in bottles and
barrels, port wine, Bristol beer, refined sugar, hyson tea, oats in puncheons,
candles, soap, tallow, paints, linseed oil, neatsfoot ditto, lamp ditto,
spirits turpentine, cordage, white rope, boat cables, anchors and grapnels,
sheet lead, puncheon and vatt hoops, copper teaches and iron boilers, grating
barrs, hoes, shovels, cutlasses, Carpenters and Coopers tools,
Drifted or Stolen, on Friday Night the
18th Inst. a new Punt about 20 feet long, no Tar or Paint about her; - a Reward
will be given to any Person giving information where the Punt may be found.

to 56, 56 bags of Coffee and T. C. I. No. 1 to 40, 40 bags ditto,

Mary, laying below Messrs. Bruninghaus & Bergh's Stelling, consisting of
Lumber and Fish, which will be Sold cheap for Cash or Produce. Any Person can
be accommodated with as little or as much as they please, by applying to the
Master on board. List of Runaway and arrested Slaves, on this 24th day of May 1804, in the Stocks of Demerary. Lyst der op heden den 24ste May 1804, zig in arrest bevindende Weglopper slaaven, in Rio Demerary.
