BEKENDMAAKINGEN, Van de Secretary. [heading]

Alzoo de Heer A. Senneville, van voorneemens zynde binnen den tyd van 1 Maand van hier te vertrekken, zo wordt zulks mits dezen bekend gemaakt, ten einde die geenen welke iets van hem te pretendeeren hebben, of aan hem verschuldigd zyn. hunne pretensien koomen ontvangen, of hunne schulden betaalen ter zyner Domicilium.

The Copartnership of Hugh Douglas & Co. being this day dissolved by mutual consent: All Persons having Claims against said Concern, are requested to lodge the same at the House of H. Douglas, in order that proper Arrangements may be made to Liquidate the same.

The Subscriber requests all those Indebted to him, either by Acceptance or open Accounts, to come forward and settle the same immediately, otherwise he will be under the disagreeable necessity of putting the whole into the hands of his Attorney at Law, to sue for. He also requests that no Goods may be delivered, or Money paid on his Account, to any Person without an Order.

FOR SALE, [heading]
An Eligible Lot of Provision and Coffee Land, adjoining the Pl. Georgia on the North side, there is about 60 Acres empolder'd, which may be easily planted with Provisions, the same is offered at f 50. per Acre, on short Payment, or to accommodate a Purchaser, good African Negroes will be received in Payment. Also 50 Rood of Land, part of the Pl. Streek & Heuvel 40 Acres empolderd, 10 of which aru in bearing Plantains, with the necessary Buildings &c. thereon. For further Particulars, apply to C. M. Overweg Esqr. in Stabroek, or to Joseph Walcott on Plantation Catharina.

Lately Imported and for Sale by the Subscriber, at his Store in the New Town; - Superfine and rye flour in barrels, Pilot and Ship bread in do. crackers in kegs, cod fish in Hhds.bef and pork, salmon, mackrel and herrings in whole & half barrels, red herrings in half barrels and boxes, refined salt in barrels, Irish butter, hogs lard, hams, cheese, vermicilla and green tea, Madeira Wine per Hogshead, quarter cask or dozen, Claret in cases, gin, coniac [sic], cherry and raspberry brandy, cherry Bounce and anizette, lamp oil, tar, Albany boards and Plank, red oak staves, fine twist tobacco, Negro pipes, hoes, grapnels, &c.

Runaway from the Plantation Pattenien, some little time ago, a Negro Boy named Gay; By delivering him to the Subscribers, or putting him in the Barracks, shall receive one Joe Reward.
The Subscriber begs the Public not to deliver any Goods on his Account, as well in his Privy as q. q. but with a written order from himself or his Brother Mr. John Bollers, now a Resident in Pomeroon.

Runaway from the Subscriber, a Negro Woman Slave named Betsy Ann, she is about 5 feet 4 inches high, has thick lips, and is well known in Stabroek; - Any Person who will lodge her in the Barracks or deliver her to me, shall receive Three Joes Reward, free of any Expence.

The Subscriber hereby cautions the Public against Paying any Money on his Account, without a written Order from himself, as the same will be considered Null and void.

AAN 'T PUBLICQ. [heading]
Word door den Ondergeteekende bericht dat by den WelEd. Heer A. P. Heraut in Boenachica Creecq, zig hebben opgehouden twee moordenaaren, welkers na m[?]ot nog toe zullen worden verborgen, in geval van nader Attaques heest Mr. I. I. Van Der Lott, my berigt om als Fiscaal van Rio Essequebo, om gevald met geweld te keeren.

Absented himself from the Subscriber, a Mulatto Man named Sam Hacket, who endeavours to Pass as a Free Man, therefore this is to caution all Persons from harbouring or employing him, and all Masters of Vessels from taking him off the Colony, as the Rigour of the Law will be fully enforced against such Offender or Offenders.

Runaway from the Subscriber, a stout Negro Woman named Sarah, Universally known in this Colony, she has been seen on the West Coast Demerary; Any Person who will lodge her in the Barracks, or deliver her to her Owner, shall receive Two Joes Reward.
