Esquire, Governor in and over the Colony of Essequebo and Demerary, and its
Dependencies, President in all Courts and Colleges in the same, &c. &c.

Alzoo de Heer Johan Ludewig Biegman,
Geboren te Altenkirchen in Duitschland, Bruidegom ter Eente. En Mejuffrouw
Alida Streereling, Weduwe van wylen Johan Cornelius van Oolen, Geboren te
Amsterdam, Bruid ter andere Zyde. Van voornemens zyn, met Elkanderern een
wettig Huwelyk aantegaan, zo als dezelve ook reeds op den 9 September 1804,
voor Heeren Raaden Commissarissen, uit den Edele Achtbaare Hove van Justitie
dezer Rivier, in Ondertrouw zyn opgenomen; zo wordt zulks mits deezen aan elk
en een iegelyk bekend gemaakt, ten einde die geenen, welke vermeenen zich
tegens dit voorgenomen Huwelyk te kunnen opponeeren, zulks in tyds te doen,
daar en waar het behoord.
Alzoo Doctor Wm. Mengay, van voornemens
is, binnen den tyd van veertien dagen, de Heer David Dow, met het
eerstvertrekkend Convoy en J. Engelhardt, binnen drie maanden van hier te
vertrekken, zo wordt zulks mits deezen gea[umlaut]dverteerd, ten einde die
geenen welk iets van hun te pretendeeren hebben ofte aan hun verschuldigd zyn,
hunne pretensie[umlaut]n te komen op geeven, of hunne schulden betaalen ter
hunner Domicilium, de eerst op de Plantagie Fowlis, de tweede op Stabroek en de
laatste op de Plantagie Cornelia Ida, ofte wel ter Secretarie dezer Colonie. PUBLICK AUCTIONS. [heading]
On Thursday the 4th of October, will be
Exposed for Sale to the highest Bidders, at 11 o'Clock in the Forenoon, on
Plantation Success, by a Decree of the Honble Court of Justice and by Order of
A. Meertens & F. Martin Esquires, Executors to the Estate of J. Haslin
deceased, and in that capacity, jointly with F. Macrae Esqr. appointed Trustees
to the Abandoned Estate of Thomas Walker; - The above Estate Success, with all
such Appurtenances as already specified by a former Advertisement.That the
above Public Sale will be observed as is Enacted by a Decree of Their High
Mightynesses the States General of the Netherlands, of the 20th May 1777, and
Notice is hereby given to all those who are wishful to enter on particular
Arrangements concerning the preferent Debts which the Estate of John Haslin
deced holds on Plantation Success, to Address themselves to Messrs. A. Meertens
and F. Martin Esqrs. in their respective Qualities abovenamed.
On Monday the 1st of October will be
Exposed for Sale to the highest Bidder, at the Vendue Office, by Order of
Charles Vincent Esqr. (Receiver) - The 1/2 Lott No. 89, situate in the Town of
Stabroek, in order to recover such moneys as the said Lott is indebted for
Ground Rent to the Town Chest, according to a Decree of the Honble Court of
Policy, dated the 26th July 1804.
On Tuesday the 18th Inst. will be Sold
at the Vendue Office, by Order of Messrs. John Madden & Co. - A quantity of
Printed Callicoes, Ginghams, &c.
On Friday the 21st Inst. will be Sold to
the highest Bidder, by Order of Messrs Hugh Holmes & Co. at Cumingsburg
Stelling; A Schooner Boat, 35 feet keel and 12 feet beam, in compleat Repair.
On Tuesday the 18th Inst. at the Vendue
Office, will be Exposed for Sale to the highest Bidders, by Order of Mr. J. Trigger,
q q James Guthrie deced: - Best Cogniac brandy in pipes, Glouster and Wiltshire
cheese, Irish linen, pullicat & pocket handkerchiefs, a quantity of table
linen, linen and cotton shirts, ready made Cloaths, cotton stockings, crates of
Crockery ware and sundry other Articles; Just Imported in the Ship Cumberland,

Krachtens eener bekomene authorisatie
van den Hoog Edele Gestrenge Heer A. Beaujon, in dato 7 September H d. Zo is
t', dat ik ondergeschreevene Exploiteur van den Edele Achtbaare Hove van
Justitie van Rio Demerary, by deeze aan 't Publiek [sic] bekende maken, dat op
den 4 October aanstaande, des middags de klokke precies twaalf uuern, by
Executie zal Kerkoopen, de Plantagie Creg, met alle deszelfs Gebouwen,
Bepootingen en Beplantingen, Slaven &c. ten behoeve van John Bonjes, in
qualiteit als generaale Gemachtigde van Turing & Comp en de Erven Daniel
Steven Schorer. Alles luid Inventaris daaglyks voor een leder ten Exploiteurs
Comptoir te zien; alle de geenen die hierinne Gading mogte hebben, komen ten
dage en plaatse op Plantagie voornoemd, aanhooren de Conditien, en doen hun

The Subscribers have for Sale at their
Store in LaBourgade; - Superfine flour, Kiln-dryed meal in puncheons and
barrels, Rice in tierces, ship bread, Cypress shingles, &c. Just Imported
in the Brig Paisely, Capt. Jackways, from New York.
Notice is hereby given to all Persons
having any Business to transact with Alleyn Culpeper, q.q. Pln. Free &
Easy, or in his Privy, are requested to call on Mr. Barton, who resides in the
House formerly Occupied by Mr. D'Helliand, on the North dam of Vlissingen Town.
all Accounts against said Plantation, or his Privy, are requested to be
delivered to him also, who will be able to give every Satisfaction.
All Persons having any Business to
transact with A. C. Walcott, now residing on Plantation Amelia's Wart, are
requested to call on Mr. Barton, who will give every Satisfaction.
Notice: - All Persons having Demands
against the Estate of the late Peter Grundy deced. are requested to render in
the same at the House of P. Yates; and all those Indebted to said Estate, to
make Payment to the Subscriber.
Stolen or Drifted from the Canal
opposite His Majesty's Provision Stores, on Thursday Night the 6th Inst. a Punt
from 25 to 30 feet long, and from 6 to 7 feet wide; - Whoever may give
Information where she can be found, will receive One Joe Reward.
Runaway from the Subscribers, a Negro
named Tom, pretty generally known in the Colony as a Boat Captain, he is a
short squat made, elderly Man and speaks very thick; Any Person giving
Information where or by whom the above Negro is harboured, may receive a Reward
of Five Joes, on application to
The Subscriber offers for Sale, his
Place situate on the West Bank of this river, next above Plantation Georgia,
known on the general Chart by No. 46, containing 100 Rood facade, 600 rood
deep, empolder'd, part of which now in Cultivation, whereon is now standing two
hard wood Logies, one 100 feet long & 20 wide, the other 42 feet long and
37 wide; also a compleat Boat Negro. For Terms, apply to Doctor H. B. Gall, or
Five Concessions on the fore grounds of
Labourgade, called Cumingsburg, viz No. 192, 193, 194, 195 & 196 are
offered for Private sale. For Information, apply at the Office of the Attorney

The Subscriber has for sale One Thousand
feet of Wallaba in double Posts of 25 feet long, by 6 inches square, to be

on the 1st of October next, his Domicilium will be in front of Pln. Werk &
Rust, opposite the House of J. Bruninghaus Esqr. He recommends himself in the
continuated [sic] Favors of his Friends, and offers for Sale on moderate
Prices, the following well conditioned Goods, viz. Claret, bergerac, old
rhenish wine in cases, Champaigne, Madeira, old Cogniac brandy in bottles,
Dutch gin, Liqueurs, tobacco, snuff, fine and Negro pipes, Westphalia-hams, Edam
cheese, lamp oil, sweet do. fruits in vinegar, tea, spices &c. extra fine
Leyden broad cloths and cassimeres, marcells, muslinets, silk & muslin
shaws and handkerchiefs, oznabrugs, buttons, &c. Carpenters, Coopers and
Masons tools, door & pad locks, hinges, bolts, nails, Plantation utensils,
steelyards, tin, glass and earthen ware, looking glasses, Nurremberg goods, gun
powder and shot, paint oil, paints, tar, Marseilles soap, hair powder, starch,
