The Underwritten having given to G. Mahlstedt, the most Legal and convincing communication that they (H. Cantzlaar and I. L. Eils,) are the true and only Attornies in this Colony, as well of Messrs. Otto, Sargenton & Co. of Amsterdam, in Quality of Holders of a Mortgage on the Estate Toevlugt, in this River, as also of Mr. J. Sargenton of Amsterdam, in Quality of Heir to his deceased Mother Widow of C. Backer Esqr. and consequently Heir for one quarter part of said Estate Toevlugt, they expect that said Mahlstedt under these circumstances, will have Generosity enough to recall his Advertisement of the 6th October, so that no Person may be misled thereby; Whereas the Underwritten perfectly adhere to their Advertisement of the 29th September last, "that all Transactions contracted with G. Mahlstedt, concerning the Toevlugt Estate, without their concurrence, are to be considered Null and void." also that G. Mahlstedt in consequence of the Revocation of the Power of Attorney on him, has no more the least Administration of the Estate Regt door Zee, belonging to said Ott, Sargenton & Co.
