On Wednesday the 24th Inst. will be Sold
at the Vendue Office, by Order of Messrs. R. Stephenson & W. Niel,
Executors to the Estate of Dougald Thompson deced. - Two Carpenter Negroes,
Wearing Apparel and Carpenter's Tools.
On Thursday the 25th Inst. will be Sold
at the Vendue Office, an assortment of Choice Dry Goods, Horses & Jack
Asses.
On Friday the 26th Inst. will be Sold at
the Vendue Office, Fifty barrels of Tar & Pitch.
On Monday the 29th Instant and following
days will be Sold to the highest Bidders, by Order of Messrs. Pasquier &
Otto, at their Store in Stabroek; - A Variety of Dry Goods, consisting of
callicoes, muslins, pullicat & madrass handkerchiefs, bed tick, stockings,
thread, Irish linen, Ladies, gentlemen's and Childrens shoes, boots, umbrellas
and parasoles, canvas, ready made Cloaths, Stationary, writing desks, looking
glasses, saddles and bridles,, new Furniture, loaf sugar, glass and earthen
ware, cutlery, soap & candles, paint and paint brushes, Dutch long pipes,
Negro do. tobacco, gin in cases, Martinique liqueurs, port wine, porter and ale
and a number of other Articles.
On Wednesday the 31st Inst. will be Sold
to the highest Bidders, by Order of Mr. H. B. Gall, at his House in front of
Plantation Vlissingen, - A large and general assortment of valuable Medicines,
viz Bark, Ipecacuanha, rhubarb, magnesia, prepared verdisgrease, opium
cantharides, gum arabic, myrrh, aloes, corrosive sublimate, crude antimony,
sarsaparilla, liquorice, borax, steel dust, oil of rosemary, mint and juniper,
gum camphor, elixers, Tinctures and extracts, red precipitate, Dover powder,
castor oil, Barbadoes Tar, balsam capiva, James's powders, compound spirit of
lavender, glauber salts in kegs of 112 [symbol]. glass mortars, scales &
weights, Syringes of various sizes, rose water & lavender do. down puffs,
and sundry other Articles.
On Tuesday the 4th December, will be
Exposed for sale to the highest Bidders, at the Vendue Office, by Order of
Messrs. J. W. Cox, Richard Hinkson and Frs. Gibson, Executors to the Estate of
John Smith deceased; - Twenty Seasoned Negroes, who have been accustomed to
square Timber, make shingles &c. also a good Boat-Man and Carpenter, and

Notice. - The Copartnership of Hugh
Holms & Co. being dissolved on the 12th of this Month, on account of the
death of Mr. Joseph Mallam, all Persons having Demands against said concern are
requested to render their Accounts, so that the concern may be brought to a
speedy close. The Business will in future be carried under the Firm of Holms
& Wilson.
For Sale: - The Premises formerly
belonging to J. G. Cloot de Nieuwerkerk Esqr. in Cumingburg, adjoining that of
Messrs. A. Fullerton & Co. and now occupied by Thomas McKenzie Esqr. Terms

Estate of the late John Smith deceased are requested to deliver them up in
Accounts Current, to John Wm. Cox, previous to the first July ensuing, in order
to make an arrangement, so as to enable his Executors to Liquidate said
Accounts; and all Persons Indebted to said Estate, are requested to come
forward and discharge their respective Accounts.
The Underwriter having a general Power
from the Honorable A. C. L. de Winter, Informs the Public in general, and
particularly the Gentlemen Merchants, that no Goods must be Sold or delivered
to any Person without a Specific Order from said A. C. L. de Winter or the
Underwriter, as all those who cannot produce such Orders, will be refused
