BEKENDMAAKINGEN, Van de Secretary. [heading]

Alzoo de Heeren Saml. Bain en Thos. Stewardson, van voorneemens zyn binnen den tyd van 14 daagen van hier te vertrekken, zo wordt zulks mits deezen bekend gemaakt, ten einde die geenen, welke iets van hun te pretendeeren hebben, of aan hun verschuldigd zyn, hunne pretentien koomen ontsangen, of hunne schulden betaalen, ter hunner Domicilium.

On Wednesday the 24th Inst. will be Sold at the Vendue Office, by Order of Messrs. R. Stephenson & W. Harris, Executors to the Estate of S. Sproat deced. - Four Carpenter Negroes.

On Wednesday the 24th Inst. will be Sold at the Vendue Office, by Order of Messrs. R. Stephenson & W. Niel, Executors to the Estate of Dougald Thompson deced. - Two Carpenter Negroes, Wearing Apparel and Carpenter's Tools.

On Thursday the 25th Inst. will be Sold at the Vendue Office, an assortment of Choice Dry Goods, Horses & Jack Asses.

On Monday the 29th Instant and following days will be Sold to the highest Bidders, by Order of Messrs. Pasquier & Otto, at their Store in Stabroek; - A Variety of Dry Goods, consisting of callicoes, muslins, pullicat & madrass handkerchiefs, bed tick, stockings, thread, Irish linen, Ladies, gentlemen's and Childrens shoes, boots, umbrellas and parasoles, canvas, ready made Cloaths, Stationary, writing desks, looking glasses, saddles and bridles,, new Furniture, loaf sugar, glass and earthen ware, cutlery, soap & candles, paint and paint brushes, Dutch long pipes, Negro do. tobacco, gin in cases, Martinique liqueurs, port wine, porter and ale and a number of other Articles.

On Wednesday the 31st Inst. will be Sold to the highest Bidders, by Order of Mr. H. B. Gall, at his House in front of Plantation Vlissingen, - A large and general assortment of valuable Medicines, viz Bark, Ipecacuanha, rhubarb, magnesia, prepared verdisgrease, opium cantharides, gum arabic, myrrh, aloes, corrosive sublimate, crude antimony, sarsaparilla, liquorice, borax, steel dust, oil of rosemary, mint and juniper, gum camphor, elixers, Tinctures and extracts, red precipitate, Dover powder, castor oil, Barbadoes Tar, balsam capiva, James's powders, compound spirit of lavender, glauber salts in kegs of 112 [symbol]. glass mortars, scales & weights, Syringes of various sizes, rose water & lavender do. down puffs, and sundry other Articles.

On Tuesday the 4th December, will be Exposed for sale to the highest Bidders, at the Vendue Office, by Order of Messrs. J. W. Cox, Richard Hinkson and Frs. Gibson, Executors to the Estate of John Smith deceased; - Twenty Seasoned Negroes, who have been accustomed to square Timber, make shingles &c. also a good Boat-Man and Carpenter, and two Washer Woman [sic].

EDICTALE CITATIE. [heading]

Uit krachte van zekere Appointement van den Edele Achtbaare Hove van Justitie, de dato 27 September L. L. op de requeste van Joseph Beete. Zo werden door my Ondergeschreevene Exploiteur van welgemelde Hove by deeze GEDAGVAARD.
Alle bekende en onbekende Crediteuren van Joseph Beete, om te compareeren of Gemachtigde te zenden voor Heeren Raaden Commissarissen uit den Edelen Achtbaare Hove van Justitie, tegens den Vyfde November eerstkomende en volgende dagen.
Ten fine om aldaar op dessupliants Propositie gehoord, en is het doenlyk gedisponeerd of geaccepteerd te werden, tot al zulk uitstel van tyd of zodaanig sortabel Arrangementen in het generaale als naar gelang van omstandigheeden zullen geproponeerd werden als naar rechten. Aldus gepubliceerd en geassigeerd daar en zo het behoord.

Notice. - The Copartnership of Hugh Holms & Co. being dissolved on the 12th of this Month, on account of the death of Mr. Joseph Mallam, all Persons having Demands against said concern are requested to render their Accounts, so that the concern may be brought to a speedy close. The Business will in future be carried under the Firm of Holms & Wilson.

Picked-Up on front of Plantation Hague, on the 17th Instant, a Writing Box containing sundry Papers by which it appears that it is the Property of Mr. Welch. Any Person wishing to claim the said Writing Box and Papers, are requested to apply to H. Luthers Esqr. on said Estate and giving a small Gratuity to the Negroes. Demerary, 20th October 1804.

Just Imported in the Ship Brilliant, Capt. Gammel, and for Sale by the Undersigned at very moderate Prices, the following Goods, viz: Muslins, muslinets, corded dimity, printed callicoes, chintzes, pullicat and madrass handkerchiefs, Irish and Dutch linen, cotton and linen checks and check shirts, superfine scarlet, blue, black and mixed cloths and cassimere, coarse blue cloth for lining Chaises, blue penistone, white shaloon, Gentlemen and Ladies fine hatts, gloves and stockings, Hessian and Russian boots, Gentlemens dress shoes, Ladies shoes and slippers, a large assortment of Ironmongery, door & window hinges, round and -sloping bolts, staples, brass chamber-door locks, desk locks, square iron pointed compasses, German steel handle saws &c. fish hooks and fishing lines, knives and forks, knife cases, pocket and pen knives, Sportmens knives, Gentlemens tool chests, superfine razors and razor cases, scissors, steelyards, Plantation Utensils, as, hoes, shovels, cutlasses, a large assortment of iron potts &c. Stationary, Sadlery, Jewelry, Glass & Earthen Ware, silver spectacles, Organs, double key'd German Flutes &c. &c.
He likewise has got for Sale, beef and pork in whole and half barrels, Yorkshire hams, pickled lobsters in kegs, lamp oil, soap and candles, best Hyson tea, black pepper, mustard, powder and pomatum, best London particular Madeira Wine, and London wired Porter.

For Sale, on favorable Conditions, under the Sanction of the Honble Court of Justice, and by their Permission, the Estate de Kinderen, situated on the East side Mahaica Creek, being 125 Acres, of which 58 are planted in cotton, 20 with Plantains and 40 newly empolder'd, also a Dwelling House, cotton Logie, Negro houses, and other Buildings, with 35 Negroes; - Any Person wishing to Purchase the same, can apply at the Office of the Orphan Chamber, every Morning from 10 to 12 o'Clock, Saturdays & Sundays excepted.

All Persons having Demands against the Estate of the late John Smith deceased are requested to deliver them up in Accounts Current, to John Wm. Cox, previous to the first July ensuing, in order to make an arrangement, so as to enable his Executors to Liquidate said Accounts; and all Persons Indebted to said Estate, are requested to come forward and discharge their respective Accounts.

The Underwriter having a general Power from the Honorable A. C. L. de Winter, Informs the Public in general, and particularly the Gentlemen Merchants, that no Goods must be Sold or delivered to any Person without a Specific Order from said A. C. L. de Winter or the Underwriter, as all those who cannot produce such Orders, will be refused Payment.
