Major Blair having been appointed by His
Excellency Governor Beaujon and Brigadier General Montgomerie to raise a Corps
of Cavalry to be composed of Persons not Serving in the Infantry Militia, and
to consist of forty Men, requests those gentlemen who are desirous to become
Members of said Corps, to signify the same to him, or to G. J. Furnace Esqr.

On Tuesday the 11th Instant will be
exposed for sale to the highest Bidders, at the Vendue Office, by order of J.
T. Barrett Esqr. sixty barrels of new beef just landed.
On Monday and Tuesday the 17 and 18th
Instant, will be exposed for sale to the highest Bidders, at the house of
Messrs. McInroy, Sandbach & McBean on the North Dam; madeira wine in pipes,
hogsheads and quarter casks, glauber salts in kegs of 112 [symbol] each, cotton
and linen checks, bed tick, fine chints, diaper and table cloths of different
sizes, ounce and coloured threads, Irish linen, Negroes &c. &C. &c.
On Saturday the 6th of July next will be
Exposed for sale at Public Auction on the Sand Hill, by J. J. Kottwyk Esqr. as
Curator to the Insolvent Estate of P. F. Brotherson, duly authorized by the
Honble: Court of Justice of this Colony: - The part in 500 Akers of sand Land,
belonging to the above mentioned Estate, known by the name of the Sand Hill,
situated on the West side of this River, with the Buildings thereon: - Also 30
Negroes, 15 of which are men who has been for some Years employed in squaring
Timber, and the other 15 women and children, some of whom are house people; - A
large Punt, tent Boat and Yawl, 4 Oxen and 3 Bulls, used to the yoke, 5 milch
Cows, sundry Tools, And what further belongs to the aforesaid Estate of P. F.

All Persons having demands against Plantation
Le Boone Intention, or L'Inattendue, situated upon the East Sea Coast of this
Colonie, and the Property of F. D. Changuion, C. F. Bentinck and H. W. Bentinck
Esquires, or against either of said Proprietors in their individual capacities,
are requested to render the same properly attested as early as possible to the
Subscriber at his Place of Residence, Coldingen Estate.
The Subscriber again desires all those
indebted to the Estate of John Donaldson decd. to call and settle their
Accounts, on or before the 1st of August next, as no indulgence will be given,
nor any distinction made after that Period.
The Subscribers have for Sale at their
Store in La Bourgade, the Cargo of the Brig Harriett, Capt. Baker from
Portland, N. A. consisting of W. P. Lumber, shooks, clapboards, shingles, salt
fish in hogsheads and boxes, mess and cargo Beef in whole and half barrels,
Pork do, superfine flour, tongues in half barrels &c. which they will
dispose of on reasonable terms, for immediate Payment in Cash or Produce.

The Undersigned has the pleasure to
inform his Friends and the Public, that his lottery will be drawn on Monday the
17th Instant, at his Store on Werk & Rust, opposite W. Bruninghaus Esqr, at
12 o'Clock, in the presence of a Clerk from the Secretary's Office, he requests
all those who are interested to be present, and gives notice that there is yet
a few Tickets to be disposed of.
The Subscriber Advertise her negro boy
named Thomas, and offers a handsome gratuity to any Person that will either
bring him home, or secure him, so that he can be regained by her; the boy has a
Government Pass and was sent out to sell towards Mahaica and Mahaicony ten
Weeks ago, is very tall and thin, walks a little lame and is of the Mandingo
Nation, he had on when he went away a pair of Nankeen Trowsers and a blue
jacket, and carried a small black trunk about 2 feet and a half long with
Goods.
Ik ondergeteekende thans woonende in de
Concessie van den Wel Edele Heer Van Well als zynde een Hoefsmit, en verders
een Eyzer Smit voor Rytuigen en wat groswerk aanbetreft; verzoekt een Ieder zyn
Gunst, het zy van de Ingezeetenen van de Stadt of Heeren Planters, eewelke ik
alle zal hendelen voor een civiele Prys.
Alle die geenen welke Orlogien te
repareeren gegeeven hebben by den ondergeteekende, werden verzogt dezelve
tegens betaaling te komen afhaalen, ten huise van de Heeren Schaapers & Co.
binnen den tyd van 14 dagen, zullende na verloop van dien Tyd, voor de Orlogien
welke als dan niet afgehaald zyn, over gedisponeerrd [sic] worden als na
behooren.

Weggeloopen van den ondergeteekende
eenige tyd geleeden, twee Negermeiden genaamd Genie en Betsy, die dezelve in da
Tronk van Stabroek of by den ondergeschreevene brengt; zal voor elk Een
