Alzoo de navolgende Persoonen zig by
Requesten aan den Edele Achtbaare Hove van Politie de Rivieren en onderhoorige
Districten van Essequebo en Demerary hebben geaddresseerd, verzoekende om
Brieven van Vrydom. als: - Tully Higgins, Inwoonder van Essequebo, voor de
Mulattine Sally Kelly, hem in Eigendom toebehoorende. - De Neegerin Patience,
geadsisteerd met G. A. de Villeneuve, voor haar zelve, bevoorens de Eigendom
van W. D. Boon. –
Alzo de Heer John Ryan van voorneemens
is met het eerste vertrekkende Convoy, en Grace van de Lande binnen den tyd van
Veertien Dagen van hier te vertrekken, zo wordt zulks mits deezen bekend
gemaakt, ten einde die geenen, welke iets van hun te pretendeeren hebben, of
aan hun verschuldigd zyn, hunne pretensien koomen ontvagen, of hunne Schulden
betaalen, ter hunner Domicilium.
Alle de geenen die Eenige Pretentien
hebben of Schuldig zyn, aan den Beedel [sic] van wylen P. La Font, overleeden
in de Colonie Essequebo, op de Plantagie Engel Rust, Wakkename Eiland, geleeve
dezelve op en aan te geeven, binnen den tyd van Drie Maanden na dato deses, ter
Secretary alhier, ofte ten Huise van de Heer Louis Favarger, in qualiteit als
Executeur Testamentair in voorm: Boedel, of by zyn Procureur den Heer N.
Rousselet in Stabroek, ten einde den Boedel zo spoedig mogelyk tot liquideteit

Op Dingsdag tweede July aanstaande, zal
den Ondergetekende in desselvs qualiteit als St Eerste Exploiteur deeser
Colonie, ten overstaan van Heeren Raaden Commissarissen by Executie Verkoopen,
als volgt: - Ten behoeven van Hugh Wilson, een derde gedeelte van 't Huys op t'
Lot of Concessie No. 19 en 20, geleegen op de Voorgrond van Plantagie
Vlissengen, zyn de 40 voeten lang en 18 breed, twee verdiepingen hoog; als
meede negtens op gem: Concessie een Agterhuys 32 by 15 Voeten, een en een halve
Verdieping hoog, aankomende Robert Stephenson. - Idem ten behoeve van Wm.
Brown, Drie Stuks Neegers genaamt Adam, Gibaralter [sic] en Waxton, aankomende
R. Barnes.

On Wednesday and Thursday next, the 26
and 27th Instant, will be exposed for sale to the highest Bidders, by order of
Messrs. M'Donald, Halket & Co. at their House in the New Town, the
following Articles, viz - A large assortment of dry goods, Plantation Stores
&c. consisting of chinses, calicoes, jeans, muslins, cambricks, Irish linen
and sheeting, cotton shirting, linen pocket handkerchiefs, table linen, checks,
stripes, Romal, French, and pullicate handkerchiefs, tapes and threads, bed
tick, boots, shoes and stockings, silk umbrellas, Gentlemens ready made coats,
Negro blankets, jackets, shirts and trowsers, soap and candles, paints and oil,
cordage, Carpenters tools, nails, hoes, cutlasses, hooks, bolts, and hinges,
tin, glass and earthen ware, sadlery and harness, mahogany sideboards, tea
tables, liquor and knife cases, bureaus and writing desks, fowling pieces and
pistols, Madeira wine in pipes, hogsheads and quarter casks, porter, beer and
Vinegar in barrels, &c.
On Monday and Tuesday the 1 [sic] and
2nd July will be exposed for Sale to the highest Bidders, by order of Jos. Ward
Esqr. at his store on Werk & Rust, Payable on the 1st November: - A
compleat assortment of jewelry, Ladies dresses and dress caps of the newest
Fashion, Ladies fashionable straw bonnets, patent silk and beaver hats, laced
muslin, jackonet, plain, sprig and black ditto, white and coloured cotton
cambrick, coloured silks, sewing ditto, white and pink persian, gawze and lace,
silk Vails, and cotton fringe and trimming, silk and silver cords and tassles,
silver fringe and lace, muslin and silk shawls, pocket handkerchiefs, white
thread, Ladies long and short silk and leather gloves, glove knots, silk and
satin ribbon, pins, silver wreaths and feathers, ostrige do, artificial
flowers, Ladies combs, pocket books and fans, silk purses, Ladies shoes and
shoe roses and silk stockings, corded dimity, ginghams, printed calicoes,
furniture chints, mourning cotton prints, crepe and bombazeen, Gentlemens white
and black silk stockings, cotton ditto, cotton and silk pantaloons, silk and
cotton braces, white and yellow nankeen, blue, white and green kersimere,
waistcoat patterns, coloured cotton velvits, coloured jeans, cockades, silver
and gold amulets, sword knots, Childrens hats and shoes, Mens boots and shoes,
shoe brushes and blaking [sic] balls, coat brushes, fine pullicat
handkerchiefs, snuff ditto, dowlas, check, check shirts, oznabrugs trowsers, brown
thread, blue jackets and trowsers, Negro hats, sewing twine, cotton bagging,
saddles and bridles, horse whips, chaise ditto, chaise and harness portmantues
and umbrellas, cups and saucers, china tea services, tea trays, table mats,
mother of pearl salt and egg spoons, fish and counter liquor stands and bottles
ditto, swing looking glasses, different sent waters, smelling salts, wash
balls, windsor soap, shaving boxes and brushes, and an assortment of glass and
tin ware, stationary, spices, black pepper, hyson and green tea, cherry and
rasberry brandy, Holland's and Colona gin, brandy, port wine of the very best
quality, corks, an assortment of nails, hinges and bolts, band saws do files,
gimlets and augers, chissels and planes, stock, drawer and pad locks, iron
pots, grid irons, herrings, split pease, rice, barley, grots and pearl barley,
superfine flour, corn meal, all colours of paints, do brushes and oil, cordage,
hair broom, horse brushes, scouring do, white wash do, copper tea kettles,
spermacite and mold candles, glauber salts and an assortment of cutlery, coffin
furniture &c. &c.
On Monday and Tuesday the 8 and 9th of
July next, will be exposed for Sale to the highest Bidders, by order of O. J.
Laurin Esqr. at his store on Werk & Rust, the following articles viz: pork,
beef, candles, soap, tongues, sausages, kegs of salmon and mackrell, porter,
ale, claret, gin, brandy, cheese, also a variety of dry goods to tedious to

Subscriber will Expose for Sale, 200 Prime Gold Coast Slaves. - Arrived in the
Ship Admiral Colpoys, Captain Morrison, from Cape Coast.

terms, at his Store, near the American Stelling, formerly occupied by Messrs.
Good & Barrel [sic]: - One hundred hogsheads Newfoundland Cod Fish of a
superior quality, mess Beef in barrels and half barrels, No. 1 Beef in ditto
and ditto, Pork in barrels and half do, Tongues in kegs, Butter, Hams, Pilot
and Ship Bread, soap, spermicite and tallow Candles, Corn and Oats in barrels,
Brandy, Gin, Claret, Wine, &c. &c.
Den Ondergeteekende geest by deezen
kennis, dat hy thans bewoond het door hem Nieuw gebouwde Huis en Concessie
geleegen op Werk & Rust, schuyns over de Wel Edele Gestrenge Heer J. J.
Kotwyk. - Hy geest mits deezen kennis dat de zogenaamde Concessie JERUSALEM
genaamt, zig thans in de geheele Possessie van de Heer J. L. Eils bevind.
Wanted a foot Boy to wait on a single
Person, and who is able to do some House drudgery: he must be brought up in a
Genteel family, and the Owner be able to recommend him for cleanness, good
tempered, and that he is no Thief. Any Person wishfull to hire out a boy of

den Ondergeschreeven voornemens is zyn Effecten te verloten, te weeten: - Deeze
Lootery zal bestaan in Een Honderd en tien Looten, ieder tegens Een Honderd en
tien Guldens, het welk ni opleeveren . . . f 12,100.

leave this Colony for Europe by the first Opportunity from hence; all those he
may stand Indebted to are hereby requested to render their Accounts addressed
to him, at Messrs: William McKenzie & Co's. for Payment.
The Subscriber intends for England by
the first Convoy, those who have any demands against him will please call for
Payment, and all those indebted to him are requested to come to an immediate
settlement.
For Sale: - That large unfinished House
adjoining Bridge Town Stelling, the dementions [sic] are 50 feet long and 20 wide,
two Storie high, the frame all of Green Hart, with a side Building 40 feet long
and 12 wide: - For Particulars apply to Jas. Kenyon, or to Alxr. Reith &
Robt. Stephenson, Executors to the Estate of the decd. Richard Porter.
The Subscriber having Advertised on the
1st Instant, in the Gazette a Negro Woman named Veronica, and a Negro Man
Zondag absented, neither of whom have yet been found, and by some late
intelligence he has good reason to suspect that the Negro Zondag is harboured
on board of some Vessel in the River. - All Masters of Vessels, and others are
cautioned not to harbour nor carry the said Negro Man Zondag off the Colony,
all possible means will be immediately used to find out the Aggressor who will
be prosecuted to the utmost rigour of the Law; and any Person who can give
information so as to recover the said Negro Zonday, or bring him to the
Subscribers House on Werk & Rust, or lodge him in the Barracks shall
receive Five Johannes reward.-
Op den 20 January 1805 is door P. C. J.
Van Ryssel geweesenen Koopman in Demerary aan 't Veer by den Ondergetekende
alhier in Rio Berbice agter gelaaten, een Rypaard met Zadel en Toom dewelke nu
berieds 2 of 3 Maanden aldaar gewest, zynde zonder dat gedagte Van Ryssel
agtervolgens zyn belofde 't zelve heest komen afhaalen, en de Kosten voor den
Onderhouden Oppassing te voldoen: den Ondergetekende heest zich dierhalven
gewend by twee differne Briefen aan de Heeren J. C. Stadtman on B. Teyssen Jr.
als ant-gestelde Curators in den geabandoneerden Boedel van gezegde Van Ryssel,
en aan dezelven gepresnteerd om tegens betaaling der gevallen Onkosten 't Paard
en toebehooren uit te leeveren, dan daar ook dit van geen 't mindeste Effect
gewest, is zo zy hiermeede aan Curators in den Boedel van P. C. J. Van Ryssel
ofte alle de geene die zulks mogten betrekken geadverteerd, dat by aldien daar
hun 't zelve Paard tegens betaaling der Oppassing en Onderhouds Onkosten binnen
den tyd van Veertien Dagen na dato dezes, niet word afgehaald, by
Ondergetekende als dan zich zaal genoed zaakt vinden ten einde zyn agterweezen
te recouvereren meerged: Paard en toebehoeren Publicq te doen Verkoopen, ofte
wel zodanige mesures te neemen als overeen komstig Regtens hem zullende stade
