On Thursday came in the Albion, Capt. Holmes, from Dublin, and, as
usual, we have been favoured with Papers: but their contents are not important.
The Hunter, from Portland, arrived this morning, but has brought
no news of consequence.
Accounts have been received from Holland, by which it appears that
the requisition is enforced against all men from 22 to 48.
We understand that several foreigners have been lately sent out of
Ireland under the Alien Act.
The Dutch letters state that 100 licenses have been granted to the
principal merchants of Holland, but with such restrictions that they despair of
being able to derive any advantage from trading under them.
