Barrack Yard in Camp.

Tenders for the same in Quadruplicate only, endorsed "Tenders
for Lumber, &c." will be received at this Office
until Monday next, the 9th Instant, at 9 o'clock when they will be opened in
presence of the Officer Commanding His Majesty's Troops, and the lowest (if
approved) accepted.

PUBLIC VENDUES.
On Thursday the 5th September, at the
Store of Mr. L. M'BEAN, by Order of Mr. N. VOLKERTS, for account of the
Underwriters and others concerned, the whole Invoice of Goods arrived by the
Ship Tweed, partly damaged, and plundered by a French Privateer. To be Sold by
the Package, consisting of Salempores, long cloths, nankeen, Kentings, cambric
handkerchiefs, ginghams, dimities, checks, printed calicoes and cambrics,
Britannias, cordage, canvas, Oznaburghs, stationery, perfumery, jewellery,
beads, kegs jew beef, smoked sausages, red herrings, cheese, almonds,
confectionary, &c.
August 24th. KINGSTON and M'BEAN.
On Friday the 6th September, at the Vendue Office, by order of Mr.
G. ANGLE, for account of the Underwriters, and others concerned, the whole
Invoice of Goods arrived by the Ship Tweed, partly damaged and plundered by a
French privateer, to be Sold by the package, consisting of - Buck handled
knives, salempores, crape, jewellery, shoes, cheese, butter, herrings, Port and
Rhenish wines, brandy, seltzer and soda water, &c.
August 24th. KINGSTON and M'BEAN.
On Monday the 16th of September, by Order of J. L. and G. M.
FORRESEER [sic - FORRESTER], Esqrs. at their Store:-
Boxes of English soap, old Castille do. a
large assortment of glass ware, viz. elegant cut decanters, caraafs, tumblers,
rummers, finger basons, wine coolers, wine, champaigne and liquor glasses,
&c. Hessian boots, salt in barrels, tar in do. twine, building lime, temper
lime in kegs, an iron chest with two keys; ironmongery, chiefly anchors and
grapnels, nails, hoes, tools, &c. Paint oil in jugs, an elegant light gig
nearly new, a few hundred gallons old spirits in quantities (not less the 5 1/2
gallons) to suit purchasers, a few seasoned liquor butts 300 to 350 gallons
each.
Two Field Negro Women, on Man who has served some time to a
Carpenter, and what else may appear on the day of Sale.

NOTICE is hereby given, that on the Petition of the Agent for the
said Ship SOPHIA, His Honor the Judge Surrogate of the Court of Vice Admiralty
aforesaid, has been pleased to enlarge the term of the Monition, until the 12th
inst.

CUSTOM-HOUSE SALE.
On Monday the 9th instant, will be Publicly Sold, by Order of the
Honorable the Court of Vice Admiralty of Demerary, to the highest bidders, for
immediate payment in Cash, Ninety Nine Hogsheads containing VIN DE GRAVE,
Seized by the Officers of His Majesty's Customs, from on board the Ship Sophia,
from Lisbon.
The Sale will take place at the King's Warehouse near HYNDMAN, and
CARY's Stelling, and will commence precisely at 10 o'clock.

MISCELLANEOUS.
A letter received from Holland by a commercial house in London,
states, that 10,000 French troops had marched towards Tonningen.
