Notification. [heading]
Court-House, George-Town,
Demerary, 7th March, 1815.
Notice is hereby given to all Persons, who
have sent in Petitions for leave to Manumit Slaves, at the last Ordinary
Session, as well as the Slaves so to be manumitted; that the Parties to such
Petitions, must appear personally at the Court-House, for the purpose of being
examined touching said Petitions, in the order hereafter mentioned.
The Slaves, whose Sirnames [sic] begin
with the letters A, B. C, or D, on Monday, the 20th of March, F, G, H, I, or K,
on Tuesday, the 21st of March, L, M, N, O, P, or Q, on Wednesday, the 22d, R,
S, T, V, W, X, Y, or Z, on Thursday the 23d.
The Parties not appearing when called
up, their petitions will be thrown out.
