To Let - that well-known and eligibly
situated Dwelling-House, Out-Houses, &c. nearly opposite the Colonial
Receiver's Office, and at present occupied by the Underwritten. Any person
inclined to purchase the above Premises, may have the same, by paying, for ten
successive years, the trifling sum of f 600, over and above the rent required -
without interest. For further particulars, apply to

Banns of Matrimony - between William
Augustus Crozier, batchelor, born in Grenada, on the one part; and Miss Sarah
Ann Shillingford, born in Barbados, a minor, but assisted by her father, Mr.
Shillingford.
Any person knowing just cause or
impediment, why the above Parties should not be joined together in Holy
Matrimony, must declare the same to the Revd. W. G. Straghan. - Demerary, March
11, 1815.

Whereas, People continue to Gallop their
Horses and Mules, in defiance of the Ordinance of the Hon. Court of Policy, and
to the great terror and risk of the inhabitants.
This is to give Notice - that every
person who may be seen galloping along the public roads in George-Town, after
this publication, will be fined according to law; and every slave so offending,
will be immediately flogged.

The Undersigned being anxious to bring
the Estate of their deceased brother, Henry Burnett, who departed this Life in
Barbados, to a final close as soon as possible - request all those who hold any
demands against the said Estate, to render the same properly attested, to the
Undersigned, within three months from this date; after which period none will
be admitted. And those indebted to the aforesaid Estate, are desired to make
immediate payment to either of the Subscribers, and thereby prevent unnecessary
Law proceedings.

Notification. [heading]
The Inhabitants of the District of
Essequebo are hereby informed, that it is the intention of the Second Fiscal,
to inspect the roads and Bridges in that district, during the first week of the
ensuing month; when he hopes to find them in such order as to preclude the
necessity of inflicting fines. He will take particular notice of the state of
the planks and railings of bridges, the keeping of which in good repair, is so
essential to the safety of travellers.
The Office of the Second Fiscal,
continues to be held at Plantation Maryville, till further notice.

have entered at the Custom-House at this Port:

Ship Ayrshire, King, Glasgow and Cork.
Ship Thornton, Fisher, Greenock.
Brig Mary, Wilson, Liverpool.
Brig Unicorn, Smith, Liverpool and Cork.
Ship Albion, Holms, Dublin and Cork.
Ship Mary, Brown, Liverpool & Cork.
Ship Paragon, M'Gowan, Greenock and
Cork.
Brig Union, Heatherly, Liverpool.
Ship Elizabeth, Bendall, ditto.
Which, together with the Demerary, Jane,
Sarah, and Sophia, previously announced - formed the whole of that part of the
Cork Fleet, destined for this Colony. They of course do not communicate
anything new.
The Fleet before-mentioned, came under
convoy of the Cygnet sloop of war.
Cleared from the Custom-House - the Brig
Dolphin, for Barbados - and the Brig Aurora, for Amsterdam.
