The DEMERARY
and ESSEQUEBO ROYAL GAZETTE. Tuesday, May 9, 1815.
Port
of Demerary. [heading] The Snake Packet arrived on Sunday; but still nothing decisive of the fate of the Colonies! Indeed they seem to care no more of us poor colonists, than as if we belonged to His Most Vegitable Majesty, the Emperor of China; or the Exile of Elba, of the Corsican nation, having all his country's marks about him, and lately absconded!
