Banns
of Matrimony - between Charles Phipps, Bachelor, born in Barbados, and Miss
Jane Catharine Langevine [sic], a native of this Colony.
Any
person knowing any just cause or impediment why the above parties should not be
joined together in Holy Matrimony, must declare the same to the Revd. W. G.
Straghan. - Demerary, August 12.
Banns
of Matrimony - Between James Alicock, born in this Colony, being of age, and of
the Protestant religion, bachelor, on the one part; and Susanna Maria Jacoba
Linguis, Widow Boedberg; also born in this colony, of the Protestant religion,
on the other part.
Any
person knowing just cause or impediment why the above parties should not be
joined together in Holy Matrimony, must declare the same at the Colonial
Secretary's Office.

Friday the 22d of September, 1815, by order of Henry Clementson, Esq. at 6, 9,
and 12 months credit, on the premises - the un-expired Lease of the House and
out-buildings, situated on 1/4 of Lot No. 5, south-side of Robb's Stelling, at
present in the occupancy of John Strathie; the premises are in good repair, and
immediete [sic] possession will be given. Also, a negro boat-captain, named
Boatswain; a good washer-woman and house-servant, named Sarah; and a woman,
named Lyddy; at three and six months credit, sundry articles of household
furniture, &c.
