Miss Sophia Sanses respectfully informs the Ladies of these Colonies, that she will undertake to teach Embroidery & Drawing; for which purpose she has opened school, on Lot No. 64, Vlissingen, immediately opposite the residence of Mr. Boullier. - Sept. 14.

THIS IS TO INFORM THE PUBLIC, THAT THE FOLLOWING PERSONS INTEND QUITTING THE COLONY:
The free mulatto boy Franc, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 14.
The negro woman Amelia, and her child John, the property of Miss Charlotte Dean, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 14.
Francis Miller, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 21.
Robert Jackson, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 21.
Thomas Chilcott, and servant, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 22.
Frances Graves and servant, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from do.
Jno. How, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 23.
The free mulatto boy Peter W. Peterson, in 14 days or six weeks, from August 23.
George Cook, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from August 24.
N. Hazelwood and family, and three servants, in 14 days or first Packet.
Charles L. Robertson, in 14 days or first Packet, from Aug. 30.
Mrs. Ann Morgan, one servant, and a free coloured child, named Elizabeth - in 14 days or 6 weeks, from September 4.

Robert Stuard, in 14 days or 6 weeks, from September 7.
Jane Fowler, in 14 days, from Sept. 15.

Banns of Matrimony - between John Fraser, bachelor, being of age, and of the Protestant Religion, born in Nova Scotia, on the one part; and Miss Maria Louisa Schlosser, born in this Colony, of the Reformed Religion, a minor, but with the consent of and assisted by her father, J. P. Schlosser, Esqr. on the other part.
Any person knowing any just cause, or impediment, why the above parties should not be joined together in Holy Matrimony, must declare the same at the Colonial Secretary's Office.

At the Commissary-Court of the 2d of October, 1815, [heading]
will be passed the following
Transports and Mortgages;
viz.
1. By the Executors of the Estate of L. Hartensveld, deceased, Transport of a Piece of Land situated on the West Coast of Essequebo, commencing at the Creek Couradara, bounded on the upper side by the lands belonging to Peter Beck, and on the lower side by those of J. J. Deeges, being 117 roods facade; and such with all the Buildings, Cultivation, and a number of 22 Negroes, the names thereof to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this Colony - to R. Buchanan.
2. By R. Buchanan, a First Mortgage on the foregoing Piece of Land, together with all the Buildings, Cultivations [sic], and the aforesaid number of 22 Slaves - in favour of the Estate of L. Hartensveld, deceased.
3. By the Honourable H. J. Boode, q.q. C. A. Boode, a First Mortgage on Plantation Groot and Kleine Uitvlught [sic], situated in this Colony - in favor of Messr. McInroy, Parker, & Co. of Glasgow.
4. By Thos. Dunbrack, Transport of Plantation Caledonia, situated on Wakenham Island, Essequebo - to N. Hazelwood.
5. By N. Hazelwood, a Second Mortgage on said Plantation Caledonia, with 43 Negroes - in favour of Thos. Dunbrack.
6. By Miss Mary Taylor and Henry Austin, nom. ux. Patretia Taylor, Heirs to the Estate of their deceased Mother Mrs. Ann Taylor, Transport of the Concession or Lot No. 92, with all the Buildings thereon, situated in Kingston district - to George Breton.
7. By S. Cramer, q.q. Messrs. B. P. and P. Lespinasse, Transport of Plantation Philadelphia, situated on the West Sea Coast of the River Demerary, with all the Buildings and Cultivation thereon - to Wm. Odwin.
8. By Wm. Odwin, a First Mortgage on said Plantation Philadelphia, situated as before, with all the Slaves, Buildings, Cultivation, and further appurtenances thereto belonging - in favor of Messrs. B. P. and P. Lespinasse.
9. By Wm. Odwin, a Second Mortgage, on Plantation Philadelphia, situated as before, with all the Buildings, Slaves, and Cultivations, and further appurtenances thereto belonging - in favor of Messrs. Underwood, Hall, & Co. of London.
10. By John Strathie, q.q. the Free Coloured Minkey Rose, Transport of the Concession or Lot No. 229 with all the Buildings thereon, situated in Cumingsburg district - to M. Viret.
11. By the Curators of the Insolvent Estate of G. H. Trotz, deceased, Transport of the Plantation Nieuw Osterbeck, situated on Leguan Island, with all the Buildings, Slaves, Cultivation, and further appurtenances there to belonging, in such a manner as the same was sold at Public Vendue on the 11th of January, 1808 - to Mrs. the Widow Van Basel.
12. By the Honorable F. P. Van Berckel, Transport of the half of Lot No. 79, more or less, in such manner as it is at present railed in, situated in Cumingsburg district, with all the Buildings thereon - to the Estate of S. G. Martens, deceased.
13. By the Executors of the Estate of S. G. Martens, deceased, Transport of the above half Lot No. 79, more or less - to Ths. Cathery.
14. By Thos. Cathery, Transport of the above half Lot No. 79, more or less - to Mrs. Adams.

The Clyde, from Liverpool and Madeira; and the Mary from Liverpool - have arrived since our last. They left England in July.

The Schooner Dasher, Capt. Phillips; will receive a few Packages on Freight, for either New-York or Boston, if offered in season. She will sail in the beginning of October.
