Arrived
since our last: - the brig Ceres, from Amsterdam; the ship Timandra, from
London; the brig Tobago, last from Barbados; and a Dutch ship. We do not hear
of any news by either.
We
have the pleasure of announcing, that the building intended for the
Theatre-Royal, is in such a state of extensive forwardness, as to insure the
commencement of performance in a few days. And as we presume nothing will be
withheld, that relates to the fitting-up of the House; and afterwards, to the
giving of that full satisfaction the Public has a right to expect - so do we
sincerely hope, that the patronage of the Public, will be as general and
undeviating as the Company could desire.
