through this medium, of expressing his thanks to the Parents and Friends of his
Pupils, for their kind patronage; and begs leave to acquaint them, (for the
information of the children), that he has removed his Seminary from Kingston,
to the Masonic lodge, (having obtained the lower room of that building for the

H. De Luy, with profound respect, humbly
begs leave to inform his Friends and the Public, he intends quitting the colony
for a few months, in order to recover his health, which is much impaired by the
restraint necessarily occasioned by a strict attention to business; he, in
consequence, requests all persons who have left articles at his shop, to send
for themi in the course of the present month - and all those indebted to him,
will be kind enough to pay off their accounts, that he may be enabled to meet
the demands against him. - He intends leaving the care of his shop, and what
articles may remain at his departure, to the care of Miss Kitty Hubbard. He
has appointed Mr. H. Maggee, his attorney during his absence.
George-Town, 1st January, 1817.
