Lewis Cameron will transport from
Plantation Huntly, twenty-four negroes, the names to be seen at the Secretary's
Office of this Colony, to Berbice, in 14 days from Dec. 28.
Wm. Munro will transport one hundred
negroes from plantation Novar, in Abary, to the colony of Berbice, (names to be
seen at this office,) being part of the gang on the said estate, in 14 days
from Jan. 1.
Mrs. Busby, and her son Samuel, in 14
days or six weeks, from January 1.
Sarah Forbes, her child, and one
servant, in 14 days or six weeks, from January 4.

At the Commissary Court of the 3d of
February, 1817 - will be passed, the following Transports and Mortgages: -
1. By S. Cramer, attorney of Messrs. B.
P. and P. Lespinasse, a mortgage on plantation Blankenburg, situate on the west
sea-coast of the river Demerary, cum annexis - in favor of Jan de Burlet, and
C. Van der Ondermeulen, of Amsterdam.
2. By J. S. Masse and C. Schultz, a
renewal of a first mortgage on Plantation Zeelandia, with all the buildings,
cultivation, negroes, and further appurtenances, situate on Wackenham island -
in favor of Sandbach, Tinne, and Co. of Liverpool.
3. By the representative of the heirs
of Thomas Cuming, deceased, transport of the concession or lot No. 253, situate
in Cumingsburg district - to James Redish.
4. By F. P. Francke, transport of the
south half of the concession or lot No. 55, situate on the south-dam of
Stabroek distirct, with all the buildings thereon - to E. L. Christiani.
5. By J. G. Walteling, transport of
one-fourth of the concession or lot No. 4, and half of the water lot No. 4,

plantation Vlissingen, on the north of the sluice-trench, together with all the

situate on the south-half of lot No. 8, in front of plantation Vlissingen,
together with all the right and title in the land, during the unexpired lease
- to Prescilla Thomson.
14. By the representative of the heirs
of Thomas Cuming, deceased, transport of the concession or lot No. 182, situate
in Cumingsburg district - to John Bommel.
15. By H. Hyndman and D. King, attornies
of N. Hazelwood, a renewal of a first mortgage on Plantation Caledonia,
formerly called Zee Zicht, cum annexis, situate on Wackenham island, agreeable
to the Convention of His Britannic Majesty and the King of the Netherlands - in
favor of Messrs. Cornelis Freymersum and Son, of Amsterdam.
16. By J. A. Otto, transport of
one-fourth of the concession or lot No. 46, situate on the north-dam of
Stabroek district, with all the buildings thereon, in such manner as it is at
present railed in - to Schaade Van Wyk.
17. By Martin Phyffer, transport of the
half concession or lot No. 51, situate in Stabroek district, with all the
buildings thereon - to J. J. Boullier.
18. By J. J. Boullier, transport of the
above - to the estate of G. Henschelius, deceased.
19. By A. Van der Stok, q.q. Mrs. Van
den Paadevoort, agreeable to an appointment of the Honble. Court of Justice,
bearing date the 23d November, 1812, transport of four lots of land, situate in
Kingston district, formerly Eveleary, and known on the chart thereof, formed by
L. Chollet, as Nos. 22, 23, 24, and 25; also a water lot situate opposite lot
No. 9, in the same district - to J. W. Hobbs.
20. By idem, transport of lot No. 56,
situate in Kingston distirct, formerly Eveleary, and known on the chart thereof,
formed by L. Chollet, as such - to R. B. Knight.
21. By M. Downie, executor of James
Lyon, transport of the north one-quarter of lot No. 62, situate in Werk &
Rust district, with all the buildings, as it is at present railed in - to the
widow of H. Fasy.
22. By James Sampson, transport of
sixty feet front, by one hundred feet deep, of the easterly half of the
concession No. 20, situate in Werk & Rust district, joining the premises of
J. T. Van Well - to J. T. Van Well.
23. By Thomas Marsh, transport of all
his right, action, and title, of the present unexpired lease of the concession
or lot of land No. 8, and one-half of concession No. 7, situated in front of
Plantation Vlissingen, with all the buildings thereon - to G. C. Meyer.

Those valuable Premises, Lot No. 3, Werk
en Rust. The situation is well known, either for mercantile business, or as a
pleasant residence for a family. They will be sold with our without the Water
Lot and Wharf (on which stand two substantial Houses), and may be viewed any

A Horse for hire, either for saddle or
draft; and an excellent Milch Cow for sale.

Arrival - ship Simon Cock, from London.
The letter-bag of the Nereid, Carnochan,
for London, is at the Store of Fullerton, Playter, & Co. She sails on
Sunday next.
Local Laws. [heading]
By an Act dated the 30th of January,
1812, hucksters are allowed to carry their articles, whether of dry goods or
provisions, about for sale in the town of Stabroek, and adjoining townships,
but are not allowed to sit on the public roads and bridges, to expose such for
sale, on pain of incurring the penalties provided; neither is it to be extended
to the allowance of hucksters selling dry goods, to carry the same about for
sale on Sundays. It being ordered that on those days, they shall confine
themselves to the public market-place in Stabroek; and further, that all
licences granted, for selling dry goods, shall, on the renewal thereof, be
subject each time to an additional tax of f 3,
for the support of the market-place.
