This is to inform the Public, that the following persons intend quitting the Colony: -
Thomas Severy, in 14 days or 6 weeks from January 2.
Kellman Yearwood, in 14 days from January 2.
David M'Pherson, in 14 days or 6 weeks from Jan. 3.
Lewis Cameron will transport from Plantation Huntly, twenty-four negroes, the names to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this Colony, to Berbice, in 14 days from Dec. 28.
Wm. Munro will transport one hundred negroes from plantation Novar, in Abary, to the colony of Berbice, (names to be seen at this office,) being part of the gang on the said estate, in 14 days from Jan. 1.
Mrs. Busby, and her son Samuel, in 14 days or six weeks, from January 1.
Sarah Forbes, her child, and one servant, in 14 days or six weeks, from January 4.
Samuel Percy, in 14 days or six weeks, from Jan. 4.
Alexander Ballantine, in 14 days or six weeks, from January 6.
Michael Sutton, in 14 days or six weeks, from Jan. 6.
Mary Cuvilje, free coloured woman, and her two children, in 14 days or six weeks, from January 7.

BANNS of MATRIMONY - between Louis Breda, bachelor, being of age, and of the Reformed Church, born in the Province of Vriesland, on the noe part; and Miss Maria Catharina Neuwieller, also of the Reformed Church, born in this Colony, a minor, but assisted, and with the consest [sic] of her mother Mrs. S. A. J. Vermeer, on the other part.
Any person knowing just cause or impediment, why the above parties should not be joined together in Holy Matrimony, must declare the same at the Colonial Secretary's Office.

In pursuance of authority received from His Honor the President of the Hon. Court of Criminal and Civil Justice, bearing date the 16th of January, 1817 - I, the undersigned Deputy First Marshal, in the name and behalf of John Waddle, M.D. inhabitant of this colony, in capacity as acting executor in said colony to the last Will and Testament of Christopher Waterton, late Planter, deceased - do hereby for the First Time by Edict cite, all known and unknown Creditors of the Estate, as also the Plantations La Jalousie, Le Bienfait, The Fellowship, and The Windsor; to appear before the Honorable Court of Criminal and Civil Justice, at their Session to be holden in George-Town, on the 18th of February, 1817, and following days - in order to render in their respective claims properly attested, and in due form: whereas, in default of which, and after the expiration of the Fourth and last edict, will be proceeded against the non-appearers according to law.
