H. Van Cooten gives notice, that in
future he will not pay for Goods bought upon his account, unless those
delivered to his Order, or taken for him by his Son, Mr. L. Van Cooten, his
Town Agent. - Demerary, February 1.
The Subscriber being extremely pressed
for money, and wishing to close his accounts, requests all those who stand
indebted to him, in open accounts, notes of hand, book debts, or otherwise, to
come forward with payment within this month, as it will be impossible for him
to extend his credit, particularly to those whose accounts remain unsettled for
these two, three, and four years past. He therefore hopes they will not drive
him to the unpleasant necessity of placing them in the hands of an attorney to
recover. He hereby authorises Mr. Edward Hansler, to arrange and settle all
accounts and out-standing debts that may be due for him.
Thomas Thompson.
He will sell the undermentioned articles
of superior quality, for cash, at the following low prices:
Best old Port wine per dozen, f 36; ditto Madeira, 40; double brown stout, 9; claret, 22; best wine
corks, at f 4 per groce; real hyson tea, at f 6 per lb.; very fine brown stout and wine vinegar, at three
