The Subscriber, Executor to the last will and testament of Mrs. the Widow C. C. Knegt, requests all persons having demands against said estate, her late husband, A. C. Knegt, or plantation Caap Batave, to render them in, properly attested, at the dwelling-house of John J. Gilgeous, Esq. in Cumingsburg; and all persons indebted to said estates, to come forward within one month from date, that the same may be brought to a speedy close.

Arrivals. - Brig Harmony, from London; brig Ann, from Liverpool; schooner Kitty from Para; and a schooner from Surinam. No News by either.

PUBLIC VENDUES. [heading]

On Saturday, the 26th of April, at the Vendue Office, by order of the Widow, Mrs. S. R. Grant -
The House and two-thirds of Lot No. 19, with all the out buildings, &c. thereon, situate in front of Plantation La Repentir, in Charles-Town district. Also, quarter of a lot of land No. 4, and half of a water lot, in front of said quarter Lot No. 4. Also three good carpenter negroes, and what further may appear.
Also, by order of M. Campbell, q.q. - five negro men, field people, at six months' credit.
Also, by order of A. Edmonston, q.q. - sundry out-standing debts, due to the boedel of the late Thomas Riding, deceased; at three month's credit.
Also, by order of Hugh Douglas & Co. without reserve, to close consignments - fifty boxes best yellow soap, three trunks of Wellington and Parisian shoes, four new sets of gig harness. Also, a bay draft or saddle horse, if not previously disposed of.
Also, by order of Messrs. Kernan, Eccles, & Co. - eighteen boxes Lucca oil, marked P. A. landed from the schooner Alert, of Barbados, and condemned by survey. Also, to close sales - ten dozen port wine.
Also, by order of Susan Woolsey - a young negro woman, named Susannah, an excellent washer and dresser of linen, and house servant; sold for no fault.
