In
pursuance of Authority obtained from His Honor the President of the Hon. Court
of Criminal and Civil Justice for the United Colony of Demerary and Essequebo,
bearing date the Thirteenth instant - The Undersigned in his capacity as Deputy
First Marshal of said United Colony, will expose for sale unto the highest
bidder, in presence of the Hon. Counsellor Commissaries and their Secretary, at
the Court-House, in George-Town, on the Eighth day of July next: -
1st.
In behalf of A. Harriott, J. G. Christiani, and Kitty Bordon, free coloured
woman, in behalf of her son L. Bordon, plaintiff, versus J. M'Pherson,
defendant - the defendant's wood-land called Klein Parys, situated on the west
bank of the River Demerary, with the buildings, &c. thereon, consisting of
a saw mill house of colony wood 70 feet by 18 ditto - an engine house of colony
wood containing a steam engine and saw mill - a new buliding intended for a
dwelling house but not finished, 24 feet by 18 ditto - a side building 70 feet
by 12 ditto - a row Negro Houses 50 feet by 12 ditto -and a framing logie 60
feet by 30 do.

In behalf of Anthony Barkey, acting Colonial Receiver, plaintiff, versus the
free black woman Lucy Van Den Velden, defendant - the defendant's lot or
concession No. 53, situated in Stabroek, with the buildings thereon.
Whoever
shall conceive to have any right, title, or [crease in paper obscures one line
of text] the sale thereof, let such person or persons address themselves to me
in due time, at the Marshal's Office stating their reasons of opposition; when
I will appoint such person or persons a day of hearing before the Honorable
Court of Justice for these Colonies, for the trial of the same; and those
wishful of purchasing, will please attend on the day of sale and at the place
above described.
