At the Commissary-Court of the 7th July, 1817, the following Transports and Mortgages: -
1. By Joshua Ogle, executor to the last will of James Samms, deceased, transport of plantation Felicity, situate on the east coast of the river Demerary, with all the buildings, and cultivation thereon - to Michael M'Turk.
2. By Richard Estwick, for self and as guardian of the minor children of Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Butcher Curtis, his wife, transport of the concession or lot No. 54, and half of the concession No. 55, situate in Kingston district, with the buildings thereon - to Patrick M'Intyre and Thomas Fraser, as guardians of the children of the late James Fraser.
3. By J. B. Easton, a mortgage on plantation Andrews, Essequebo, with all the buildings, cultivation, and a number of 97 negroes thereto attached - in favour of Wm. and James Eccles and Co. of Glasgow.
4. By John Chandler, a mortgage on plantation La Resource and Better Success, Essequebo, with all the buildings, cultivation, and a number of 133 negroes thereto attached - in favour of Wm. and James Eccles and Co. of Glasgow.
5. By C. D. Ridley, q.q. C. D. Forrester, transport of all his right and title in plantation Somersett [sic] and Berks, known as lots No. 35 and 36, situate on the west coast of Essequebo, with all the buildings, cultivation, and a number of 105 negroes (name [sic] thereof to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this colony) - to J. B. Easton and John Chandler.
6. By J. B. Easton and John Chandler, a first mortgage on the above - in favour of William and James Eccles and Co. of Glasgow.
7. By Lewis Forrester, transport of forty two negroes, names thereof to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this colony - to J. J. A. M'Arthur, q.q. plantation Arthurville, on Wakenham.
8. By S. Spieringshoek, prive[accent] and nom. ux. a mortgage on plantation Aberdeen, Essequebo, with all the buildings, cultivation, and a number of 103 negroes attached thereto - in favour of Wm. and James Eccles and Co. of Glasgow.
9. By the attornies of M. Van Kerkwyk and Ann Frisler, his wife, transport of plantation Ann's Grove, situate on the east coast, river Demerary, with all the buildings and cultivation thereon - to the estate of the late Thomas Rogers.
10. By C. D. Ridley, q.q. C. D. Forrester, transport of 75 slaves, being part of the gang of plantation Somerset and Berks - to J. W. Cox.
11. By J. W. S. Cox, a first mortgage on fifty negroes, names thereof to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this colony - in favour of Messrs. Thomas Daniel and Sons, of Bristol.
12. By J. W. S. Cox, a first mortgage on 25 negroes, names thereof to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this colony - in favour of C. D. Forrester.
13. By the attornies of Thomas Bell, of Newcastle upon Tyne, and Catharine Lowthian, his wife, transport of plantatioon Broomhall, situate on the east coast, river Demerary, with all the buildings, cultivation, negroes and further appurtenances thereto belong - to Thomas Bond, of Lancaster.
14. By M. C. Bellot, for self, and as curator to the estate of J. L. Bellot, deceased, and Robert Johnstone, representative of William Johnstone, transport of plantation Kenderin, situate on the east coast, river Demerary - to John Waddell.
15. By Henry Harwood, transport of Little Troely Island, situate in the river Essequebo, with all the buildings and cultivation thereon - to the widow R. S. G. Brunel.
16. By Roderick M'Leod, transport of the north half of lot No. 9, situate in Bridge-Town, in front of plantation Vlessingen - to Elizabeth Game.
17. By Mrs. John Adams, transport of a piece land [sic], situate on Hog Island, river Essequebo, called Utrecht, 28 and one sixth acres, being part of plantation Rust & Vreede, between plantation Johanna and plantation Lust tot Rust - to Richard Adams.
18. By P. Benjamin, q.q. Richard Adams and Mary Rebecca Adams his wife, transport of the above piece of land; also transport of 3/4 of plantation Rust & Vreede, being 75 four sixth acres, situate between the above piece of land and plantation Johanna; also transport of plantation Johanna, situate as above and now making together, plantation Johanna, with all the buildings, cultivation, and 70 negroes, the names thereof to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this Colony - to J. W. Hobbs and W. Barnes.
19. By J. W. Hobbs and W. Barnes, a mortgage on the above plantation Johanna, with all the buildings, cultivation, and 70 negroes, and on an additional number of 50 negroes, names thereof to be seen at the Secretary's Office of this Colony - in favor of Richard Adams.
20. By Mrs. Adams, transport of the half concession or lot No. 79, more or less, as it is at present railed in, situate in Cumingsburg district, with all the buildings thereon - to Thos. Fraser.
21. By the attorney of A. Van Der Stok, transport of all his right and title in the concession or lot No. 23, situate in Stabroek district, with all the buildings thereon - to the Hon. V. A. Heyliger.
22. By the attorney of Catharine Pendergrass, transport of a piece of land, situate between the plantations t' Hop van Holland and Dorothy's Rust, on Tyger Island, Essequebo, containing 180 to 200 acres, more or less - to the proprietors of plantation 't Huis te Dieren.
23. By E. J. Henery, transport of the concession or lot No. 102, situate in Cumingsburgh district, with all the buildings, thereon - to the four minor children of W. Gidbson [sic], named Christian Freeman, Mary Freeman, Louisa Kerton, and Francis Keating Gibson.
24. By Henry Marsh, a mortgage on the concession or lot no. 67, situate in Kingston district, with the buildings thereon - in favor of Alex. Wishart.
25. By Eliza Game and Kitty M'Inroy, transport of one quarter of the concession or lot No. 80, situate in Kingston district, with all the buildings thereon - to Peter M'Lagan.
26. By Anthony Barkey and J. D. Haley, trustees to the estate of J. M. Syooner [sic], deceased, transport of the south half of the concession or lot No. 21, situate in Stabroek district, with the buildings thereon - to Maria Lynch.

BANNS of MATRIMONY - between C. J. Schmidt, Esqr. of the Protestant Religion, born in Amsterdam, being of age; and Miss Maria Elizabeth Louisa Johanna Van Dorsten, also of the Protestant Religion, born in this colony, a minor, but assisted by and with consent of her mother, Mrs. L. C. R. Van Der Wehe, widow Van Dosten.
Any person knowing just cause or impediment, why the above parties should not be joined together in Holy Matrimony, must declare the same at the Colonial Secretary's Office.

Notification. [heading]
The public are cautioned and particularly requested not to deliver any goods of whatever description, nor to pay monies to any white, free coloured persons, or slaves, on account of the subscriber, without a specific order from himself in writing under his proper signature, and that in the style of a letter, but not in the style of a complementary note.

Robbery. - Stolen from the subscriber's house, on plantation Rural Retreat, Leguan Island, between the 14th April and the 10th June - a parcel of silver, consisting of ten silver table spoons, a silver soup ladle, one punch silver laddle, with eight silver tea spoons and a pair silver tongs. The six of the large spoons have the subscriber's crest on their handles, viz. the fore part of the body of a horse, with a head, and fore feet rampant. The remainder of the silver has the initials of J. E. F. Should any one of the above articles be offered for sale, the public are requested to arrest the articles and venders, and give information at the Royal Gazette Office, or to the subscriber, at his domicilium in Kingston - where a handsome remuneration will be presented to the detector.

Dr. James M'Fee most respectfully informs the inhabitants of this town and its vicinity, that he has had a regular medical education, in the University of Glasgow, and attended, a considerable time, to the practice of medicine and surgery in the Royal Infirmary of that city: since which time, he has practised the different branches of his profession by sea and land. He further begs leave to intimate, that he will practise as physician, surgeon, and accoucher; and trusts that he will merit the patronage of those, who may commit themselves to his care, by a faithful discharge of the duties of his profession.
N.B. - His place of residence for the present, is at the house of Robert Spencer, north-west corner of the Parade Ground, Cumingsburg.

Obituary. [heading]
Departed this life, yesterday morning, Henry Stewart, son of Dr. Gill. The funeral solemnities took place this morning, at plantation Hermitage.
