Whereas,
by the Standing Regulations of His Honor the President and the Honourable the
Court of Criminal and Civil Justice of the United Colony, respecting
Accounting-Parties - the Accounts of

Hugenholtz, Sequestrator of Plantation Parika - (July 28.) -
F.
J. Huesteeg, Curator of the Estate of the Widow Dk. De Beet, deceased - (July
29.) -
have
been referred to the Subscriber, to examine and report thereon.
Notice
is therefore hereby given, to all persons interested therein, that attendance
will be given at this Office, every day (Sundays and Holidays excepted), from
the hours of nine in the morning till two in the afternoon, for the time of one
calendar month from the dates respectively attached; in order to enable such
persons to inspect said Accounts, and state their objections or observations in
writing: - at the expiration of which time, Reports will be made up, and
office-copies, at the expence of the parties concerned, be ready for delivery,
three days previous to the next Ordinary Session - when the whole of these
Accounts and Reports, will be laid before the Honorable Court of Justice, for
its final decision thereon.

those who have any claims against the Estate of Mr. C. G. Cantzlaar, deceased,
are requested to call for payment; and those indebted to said Estate, to make
payment to Mr. Gilles Cantzaar [sic], Canal No. 1, in four weeks from date.

Obituary.

On
Saturday last, the 26th instant, at Plantation Potosie, aged 19 years, Mr. C.
G. Cantzlaar, youngest son of Hugo Cantzlaar, Esq. J.Z.
Arrivals.
- The Belmont, from Liverpool, Bellona, Glasgow; Kelton, New Brunswick; and
Ann-Isabella, Barbados.
PUBLIC
VENDUES. [heading]
On
Thursday the 31st of July, at the Vendue Office, by order of J. Muller,
Executor of R. Rynders, deceased -
A
Sloop Boat with sails and rigging, &c. complete; together with seven
valuable sailor negroes. Also the undivided half of a piece of wood land, situated
on the west sea coast of Demerary, opposite Fort-island and known by the name
of Twee Gebroders; a few articles of household furniture, and sundry articles
of wearing apparel and merchandize, &c.
Also,
by order of J. Muller - two negro women, both good washers and dressers of
linen, and a horse, and what further may appear.
Also,
by order of Joseph Taylor, q.q. two valuable negro men - one named Peter, about
24 years of age, who has been brought up to the boat-building trade from his
youth, and is very expert; the other named Richard, also about 24 years of age,
has been regularly instructed as a carpenter, and is very intelligent in his
profession.
Also,
by order of J. Van Koetzveld du Crocq and Derk Wilbers, the negro man Harvey, a
shoemaker; also, the man Cupido, a boat-man, and a woman named Catharine, an
excellent house-servant.
Also,
by order of Derk Wilbers, the concession, with the buildings thereon, siuated
in Stabroek, and now occupied by Miss St. Felix.
Also,
by order of Thomas Dunbrack - the nego boy Henry, about 15 years of age, a
good, well disposed house servant.
Also,
by order of Thomas Dunbrack - a negro woman named Charlotte, a house servant,
with her daughter Caroline, nine years old, very handy about a house and at her
needle. Three months' credit.
Also,
by order of Mrs. Ann Barrow - three house servants; a man named Robert, and two
women Queen and Betsey, the latter with her child.
Also,
a cow, out of the colony barracks.
Also
by order of W. M. Paulie and Martinus Alstein, a negro man, an excellent wood
cutter.
Also,
by order of Mr. F. Behagel - a negro woman named Rose, a complete washer,
&c.
Also,
by order of N. C. Lamont, at a credit of three and six month, the negro Peachy,
an excellent carpenter; and Richard, a good field negro. They sold for no
fault, but the owner has no occasion for their services.
Also,
an excellent boat-captain named Sambo, sold for no fault, but his owner has no
employment for him.
Also,
six negroes; three prime field men, a seamstress, and two field women.
Also,
by order of C. N. [sic] Lamont, a negro named Leonard, an excellent house boy
and groom.
Also,
by order of Mr. David Gordon - three field negroes.
Also,
by order of Robert Metcalf, a negro girl named Poport.
Also,
the following Negroes out of the Colony Jail, at six weeks' credit, according
to the Regulation of the Honourable Court of Policy - Romeo, belonging to Kite
in Berbice, brought by Dienaars; Bob, Boedel Clift, Rose and Croal; Case, Pl.
La Reduit, Hugenholts; Roger, Rose and Croal, Wilford.
