Obituary.

Saturday morning last, at the Sand-Hills, C. M. Brotherson, Esqr.
PUBLIC
VENDUES. [heading]
On
Thursday the 14th of August, at the Vendue-Office, by order of Mr. W. D. Boon -
The
Unexpired Lease of the Quarter of Lot No. 26, situate in Middle-Street, Robb's
Town, at a credit of 3, 6, 9, and 12 months. The buildings have lately
undergone a thorough repair, and the house greatly improved; it may be viewed
at any time previous to the day of sale. Also, according to his advertisement
of the 2d of June - all Work that remains in his possession, will be sold if
not previously taken away; with one pair of silver candlesticks, snuffesr [sic]
and tray quite new, gold ear-rings, finger-rings, lockets, waistcoat and sleeve
button, silver key rings, &c.
Also,
the following Negroes out of the Colony Jail, at six weeks' credit according to
the Regulation of the Honourable Court of Policy - Romeo, belonging to Kite, in
Berbice, brought by Dienaars; Bob, Boedel Clift, Rose and Croal; Case, Pl. La
Reduit, Hugenholts; Roger, Rose and Croal, Wilford.
Also,
by order of G. F. Parret, q.q. - the negro man January, a good carpenter; his
wife, Mary, and five children.
Also,
by order of Messrs. Fullarton, Playter, and Co. sundry Dry Goods and
Provisions.
Also,
by order of M. Crosby - a man named William, an excellent field negro and
groom; Semira, a field negress, washer, and complete dresser of linen, with her
son, a smart house boy, about twelve years of age, sold for no fault.
Also,
by order of W. Gibson - a negro boy, a tractable house-servant, and can attend
on a horse; sold for no fault, his owner wishing to replace him with a stroner
[sic] hand.
