By the Richard, from London, just arrived, we have been favoured with Papers to the 15th ultimo.

PUBLIC VENDUES. [heading]

On Friday, the 22d of August, at the Vendue Office, by order E. Bishop, jun., for no other reason but that of closing a boedel concern, at three months' credit,
Two Negro Men, named Herhold and Providence, who have for some time past been at the woodcutting business, and a woman named Nancy and her child.
Also, at 6 and 9 months' credit, a man named Viraboire, a first-rate boat captain and pilot; who is well known for his abilities and knowledge of the banks of the Essequebo river, and a woman named Johanna, with her two children.
Also, by order of Messrs. Fullarton, Playter, and Co. three prime field Negroes.
Also, by order of W. N. Massiah, Esq. q.q. - a smart and tractable creole boy about forteen years old; sold in consequence of his owner being pushed for money to settle a demand - at three months' credit.
Also. by order of C. Behrands, q.q. - a schooner-boat, with sails, rigging, &c. complete. She may be seen at time prior to the day of sale, lying at Mr. Yearwood's.
Also, by order of K. Macrae - a negro woman; sold for no fault.
Also, by order of Miss Ann Barrow - four negroes, one an excellent house servant, with hes [sic] child, a girl, about eight years of age; a healthy woman, calculated for the field; and a young man who has been some time at the cooper's trade. These people are sold for no fault whatever, but only in consequence of their owner wanting the money.
Also, by order of H. B. Fraser, q.q. - Five prime young men, field negroes.
Also, by order of R. Barton - two negro men; George a complete boatman and Harry, a field negro. At 3 months' credit.
Also, three prime field negroes and two women, sold for no fault.
Also, by order of W[?]. L. Smith - a stout and remarkably healthy young negro man.
Also, by order of W. N. Massiah - on account of the late firm of P. Massiah and Co. - two complete boat negroes.
Also, by order of W. N. Massiah - two house servants; one a youth about 18 years of age, a complete [?????]; the other a girl about 14 years old, a complete seamstress and lady's maid.
Also, by order of J. Roose - a prime field negro man at 3 and 6 months' credit.
Also, by order of the Quarter-master of the Volunteer Marine Battalion, a five-oared Gig-Boat, with her sails and oars. She may be seen by any person wishing to become a purchaser, in the yard of the King's House.
