By Permission of His Excellency the Governor. [heading]
A Lottery, by Henry Clementson, one hundred prizes to eighty blanks; the prizes compose a house, with suitable out-buildings, &c. situated in Cumingsburg, on one half of lots 41 and 42, as at present railed in, lately in the occupancy of Madame Meertins; which premises, &c. actually cost upwards of forty six thousand guilders. Also, furniture, plate, &c. as appraised by Messrs. M. Viret and J. Madden, at the sum of thirteen thousand five hundred and forty guilders.
The owner having no further occasion for such extensive premises, &c. is the sole inducement for his making so very great a sacrifice of property, to bring his affairs to a speedy close; as may be seen by the scheme at Stephen Butts, Esqr. Messrs [sic - no period] John Strathie & Co. and with Alexander Munro, Esqr. where Tickets may be had at ten joes each.
