Adwertisements. [heading]
MRS.
TEUNTMAN, having lately resided for some time in London, and now just arrived
in this colony, begs leave to inform the public of Demerary and Essequeb, that
she intends to open an Institute of Education, for children of both sexes,
where they will be instructed in the English, French, and Dutch languages,
arithmetic, geography, history, writing, drawing, &c. and also the young
ladies in every sort of embroidery and fancy work, painting on velvet, satin,
wood, &c.
Mrs.
T. humbly believes, that she will give every satisfaction to parents and
guardians whom it may please to trust their children or wards to her care; and that
the particular attention she intends to pay to the education of them, will
leave nothing to be desired.
For
terms, about the instructions, and, if required, boarding, lodging, &c. of
the young people, please to apply at Mrs. T.'s residence, front of Werk &
Rust, in the house belonging to J. P. Muncker, Esq. Lot No. 5. – October
20.
