ENTERED

CLEARED
- yesterday, none; this day, brig Tagus, Simpson, Berbice; sloop Eagle, De
Weever, Saint Kitt's.
The
Dramatic season, close on Tuesday next; an event, from what we have generally
heard, not much to be regreted. On this Community, however, a Widow and her
Child, far from their native home, and totally unprovided for, have never
called in vain. Added to which, Mrs. Day Frances [sic], like Mrs. Thompson,
who. in similar distressing circumstances was highly patronized, is a most
pleasing and able actress; gifted also with fascinating vocal charms, and
complete mistress of the art that guides, the "light fantastic toe"
through all the windings of the "mazy dance." The amusements she
offers, are likewise of the most alluring kind; and will, no doubt have the
effect desired.
