Text | William Brass William Edward Brass, late of Aldergrove, died at Langley Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, September 19th, 1989. Born in Prince Rupert on March 28th, 1920, he was 69 years old. Mr. Brass was a retired dispatcher/bookkeeper. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; three daughters, Joan Anderson of: Loma Rica, Ca.; Dolores Sparber of Washington; Maureen Hale of San Diego, Ca.; his brother Peter Brass of Prince Rupert; two sisters, Margaret Fraser of Kelowna; Olive van Cooten, also of Kelowna; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held at St. Alban’s Anglican Church in Aldergrove. Rev. Charles Walters. officiated. Cremation followed at North Shore Crematorium in Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the B.C. Heart Foundation. | |
