Text | MRS. E. VAN COOTEN Mrs. Elizabeth Van Cooten, relict of the late Mr. J. H. Van Cooten, of Maryborough, died recently. She was a native of Ipswich, and in 1900 accompanied her husband and family to Maryborough. Seven years later Mr. Van Cooten returned to Ipswich, but after 5½ years the family removed once more to Maryborough. Mrs. Van Cooten was of a very quiet and retiring disposition, and many phases of church work received her hearty approval and support. She is survived by three sons and two daughters. | |
