Hospitality is not about competitive entertaining. Well cooked, thoughtfully presented and appropriate quantities of food are important, but ultimately it’s about time given, about accepting with pleasure the presence of someone, about relating and conversing grounded in love, warmth, and fun, seasoned with salt (and a bit of chilli).

It is about sharing the abundance of good that God has given.
