Thoughts on Hospitality: Food in the right place

I love people.
I love food.

As a Christian, I believe that being hospitable is an intrinsic expression of my faith, a basic out working of God’s love, graciousness and provision—to me and to others.
Hospitality, greeting and eating, should not be about idolizing food, but about being a good steward of what God has provided.

  1. I was thinking of the joy and dignity of accepting gifts. Giving is another virtue, but a completely separate one. Got a leg of venison the other day and was gift fit for a king. Fed Peter Jane and John hot and then Peter and Ken cold

    • I totally agree Peter. Recieving graciously and humbly – and being able to share with others too- is another side of stewardship and love.
